I'm back and things are... different. By the PvE BiS list for Outlaw (since sub can't use swords anymore, thanks blizzard) i'm 3-4 pieces shy of BiS, but i dont know what changes happened between that list and now.

So i have a few questions.
1: How does Outlaw compare to the other 2 specs, in Pve and Pvp?
2: How do rogues compare to other classes in both as well?
3: Are there any guilds that could use a fossil?

so the bis guides are out of date, so dont worry about that. Im not sure if anything has been made up for bis yet, but planty of players are willing to help you with these things.
1. Outlaw fairs good vs the other specs, i value outlaw over the other 2 since i spam bgs and there utility in bgs and aoe it is unmatched. Sub and assassin are better for duels but not impossible to win against in rvr duels, id say they all fair very well. Also Pve is a good place for all specs, id say sub trails the furthest in pve but still viable. Is my rogue https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/bleeding-hollow/Blackberryy
2. Rogues are up there i'd say in the top 5 for pvp and top 3 for pve
3. There are not many guilds, i know virtua has a horde guild that he is bringing back and reports is to be doing good. I remember. He also sent them to other guild member's wives. I can think of a few people pissed at Pat for doing it. The guild fell apart immediately, both horde and alliance side, because of it.

Then he renamed the guild Caliber, as though nobody would notice, and changed all of his character names, also as though nobody would notice. Funny story, he wanted his rogue's name back later and i still have it saved to a level 1.

He effectively ran one of the biggest 70 twink guilds into the ground because he was lonesome and couldnt keep his dick in his pants.

The best part about that whole thing though was Crystal, the chick who posted about it on the forums, only did so because Pat wouldn't promote her to officer.

Anyways, Gojirah has control of the guild now. There's like, 21 people here, and i've yet to see a single one online. So i'm looking for a new home.

It also died bc <twink info> pissed all over them in rbgs. Source: me, I was there.

Still perma banned on wow forums for trolling pat over the dick pics lmaoo. And crystal was told she would be promoted if she sent pictures to him - not that I care 5+ years later. Interesting side to the story, I assume that was his explanation?

It wasn't because of rbgs, it was because a few of our better members found out what pat was doing and were really pissed.

It also wasn't his explanation, i was on the loot council. I wont say pat wasnt asking, but he definitely wasn't the only one being offered if you get my meaning. She was really upset that she didn't get promotions, and that older members were getting loot before she was.

Those rbgs were too funny man, we had people getting quick caps/expedience achievements in them . Also intentionally left blacksmith uncapped so we could all get our 1590 to 1600 achievements. Good times, thanks for being our punching bag.

S/o retro rlly, always gives me a good laughing hearing the name. 100% worth getting perma b& on forums, would do it 100000000x over again if I could.

What's going on over on tich?

I don't remember Kaysan off the top of my head, but if i knew what class you were it might help.

I remember a warrior who made a big deal about leveling out of the bracket and the name Jeego sounds familiar, but god damn that was a long time ago.

chey plays druid, and whats going over on tich is drvirtuas guild hes starting back up. My guild on alliance has been the only community for a while, and he is bringing back the horde side.
 
Yea I am not the original Jeego I just was an acquaintance of his. I've always just been Virtua.

Good looks Sanit & Alex. Been a minute since I have seen either of you.

Yeah I knew about the others I was kept pretty informed by quite a few guild members about some of the drama going ons in retro. A lot of retro hated me long before I even knew them, but that's how it was most of the time anyway. Wow def was a dramatic place to be.

If memory serves, you and I never really had any interaction and I don't remember you being a negative influence on the forums etc.

Part of me was sad to see it all come crashing down. Things might have been a tiny bit different if I didn't add fuel to the fire as much as I did back then.

It was truly the best of times and the worst of times.

I only remember you, and it might not have even been you to be fair, making a huge deal out of leveling to 80.

As for me... well, i was kind of a sarcastic jackass. Myself and Drumkit especially didn't get along, because we tried to arena a few times before i joined retro and he got utterly destroyed, then proceeded to blame me for it because another rogue carried him to 2k.
Edit: thinking about it, drumkit might have actually been a member of retro then, i can't really say.

A good number of other rogues also enjoyed calling me out for being bad, because i was reeeaaaaally good at ganking and running away, but far less great at actual fair fights. Which os probably why i wasnt ever any good at arena is we're being honest.

I was really good in pve though. Alex was doing over 12k dps in raids, which pissed off a number of combat rogues who were claiming combat was the only viable spec but could barely break 10k. I actually managed to find a screenshot of someone posting a meter with my numbers at 11k after the fight, after i died and my bleeds took it down a bit.

So yea. That's about all i was about back then. Trolling random bgs, being trash in arena, being untouchable on the damage meters, and oh also half of the community was convinced that i was a keyboard turner.
 
I did level out to 80 after a long time at 70 but the only times I posted about it were when people would say how amazing 70 was when it was in a pretty bad spot at that time.

I haven't played wow since 2012 I think? except for a brief few months during mists, but that was for some end game pve purposes.
