29 Fury Stat Question

I just started gearing up a level 29 fury warrior for twinking but I am unsure of the current best way to build one.

Which
stat is preferred - haste, vers, crit?

I’ve been reading up on a few forum posts and it looks like some stack haste with elemental force on the weapons while others have more vers with crusader on weapons.
Is there a noticeable difference between the?

Thanks!

I would go haste/versa, just cuz the haste helps the cd on ur spells and it increases the amount of hits u do with ur swords in a shorter period of time. Lastly the more u hit with ur weps the bigger chance of getting a crusader procc :)

PPM and Haste
The speed used for calculating the PPH (Proc Per Hit) chance is the basic weapon speed, not the characters haste-affected hit speed. This means the probability of a proc is not lowered or increased by haste. What haste does is increase the total amount of melee hits per time and thus the total amount of procs.

haste warriors are nuts

i'd say stack haste and a happy balance between str and vers. for example I would say look into using something like the executioner's swords over the vers weps because they have 12 str, or the pacifier @ lvl 20 I think has 14

Its just haste, no matter what... you want to get 10% or whatever versatility from "of the Aurora" gear that is fine, but just stack out... 10% verse is not going to help you if you get mass targeted anyway. Just go for top dps and steal as many kills as you can with Execute.

You want to duel other bads/retards in Goldshire? Make some Versatility hybrid gimp build... you are better than that.

Some people will try to hard sell you on verse, whatever... if you have it you have it. 99.9% of all games it does not matter... but more haste always matters.

I'd just run that shit at 35% haste (heirloom gear with "of them impatient/aurora slots), and get a weapon swap macro, you can juggle 4/5 crusaders at once and just MEGA SMASH people. Almost all of your actual damage comes from Haste effecting cool downs and Crusader procs, so messing with Vers/Crit/Strength... just don't.

It's easy to think outside the box when you first start a FURY, but the math is pretty straight forward and there is not a lot of room for interpenetration... in fact there is none.

BEST INFO is this tho... Tweak your build tho by working BACKWARDS from max haste... if you dont like 35% haste (or whatever you can squeeze out)... remove some for vers/whatever you want (I promise you right away tho you will see the suck start to get larger the more haste you lose)... don't start the judging process with a bad build, like MOST of these people and then tweak it, get to a middle ground then *think* you are at the best and stop... that is like trying some shitty American steakhouse steaks, never having an A5-Kobe/Wagyu/Galician Blond, and then telling people you "know about steaks"... stupid.

****

Generally it's about 2 Vers = 1 main stat... which puts the Combatant's Claymore at the BiS weapon if you are looking for just pure DAMAGE... even the Gold Iron Destroyer at +14 strength is not as good (going by the Claymore has 9 strength + 7 from Versatiltiy = 16str)... that's rough, but generally true. Stick with Combatant's Claymore/Recruit's Decapitator/Reforged Truesilver Champion.
