19 Resto vs Balance?

Which one do you guys think is better? I have a decent setup for my resto, but rogues are still messing me up, way worse than they do on my disc.

You should very rarely die to a rogue in a 1v1 as a resto druid

Think so? Because even with green lens on I still only have 1521 health, and rogues are critting me for 1k or using their bomb belt on me and obliterating me in a matter of seconds. I can't even get out of the stun or my heals get kicked. I'd like to know what you're doing then.

Maybe with bomb belts and zerk/saltwater.
Meant in a general sense of a 1v1

You need to trinket the cheap shot immediately. If you're resto pop swift mend during the opener. Even if they pop saltwater if you know how to fake the kick you'll beat a rogue 9 out of 10 times. I don't play as resto but on my balance I utilize bear form a lot, dash, but the key is to fake the kick. If you trinket the cheap shot and fake cast regrowth you can make him miss the kick. If thay happens. It's ggs. Dot him up and create distance

Fake the kick
I can confirm even when the kick isn't faked it's extremely hard to nuke down a resto druid as a rogue, if they trinket out of my cheat shot I may as well just retreat and try again

Yeah as resto I don't see how you ever lose 1v1 but I suppose it happens

Try to trinket his cheap shot instantly. If you're already low use swiftmend and go bear form instantly, wait for them to use pistol shot, when they shoot it use dash so when the slow hits you, you instantly go into cat and remove the slow, run abit. Wait for them to use pistol shot again and then use sunfire into moonfire, this way you jump out of cat when the slow hits you and you wont be slowed. Then it should be easy cause you can just swap forms when they're about to slow you so you instantly remove it.

Just out run the road then problem solved.... On my rogue I have frag belt, saltwater and berserk and resto druids still can survive me by kiting me...

As resto you just need to either bearform their sap or instantly trinkit the cheap asap, travel form jump, swiftmend, go catform if the rogue didn't slow you, go travel to instantly shift their slow, and from there it's situational. The swiftmend can be replaced with a rejuvenation if cen ward is already applied, or just cen ward itself. There's obviously other factors, but for pugs that is the general idea I suggest to get used to. Once you're a good distance away, moonfire them as well. If they run to get restealth, chase a bit to get the moonfire- super important.

It's the new joke class for this xpac, like asking if you should be playing mm or surv on hunter in legion if 1v1ing rogues is what you care about.

Both specs are insanely good. Basically get a feeling against the rogues you're facing. Good players are easier to predict if you yourself is somewhat a decent player, because you'll know where they are supposed to be and what they should be doing. Makes for better predictions. You can then adjust your gameplay to fit the situation the best way possible.

You shouldn't feel like rogues are too much of an issue as a resto druid really. Swiftmend is basically a lay on hands, and bear is like 220% armor. It's a fucking meme.

If you're a boomkin, and die to a rogue, that means you were out of position, or attempted to do solo objectives at a disadvantage. That, or you legit get opened on in mid without a trinket, out of bear, and your entire team turns off their monitor while the rogue is on you.
