Arena ladder resets?

Hey guys, I am new to the community, and I've been really enjoying being able to follow my 29's arena rating (win/loss ratio) so first off, thank you guys for making that possible.
Next I wanted to ask why all of our win/loss ratios were just recently reset (?) and with what regularity that happens. Is there any way to see my past 'seasons' rating?
I need answers!!!!

It reseted because the season ended in wow (level 110) and will probably be up again once the new season begins, if it has begun already, then I guess it will be up again asap.

Hey @Sonicthehedg
The twink arena ladders are possible because blizzard themselves store hidden data for skirmishes similar to rated maxlevel arenas (mmr, rating, win/loss, etc). Xpoff pulls that skirmish data from wows api and uses it to create ladders.
For whatever reason blizzard resets all the skirmish data at the end of every season along with the rated arena data. And that's why our "skirmish seasons" run parallel with the real endgame seasons.

Unfortunately there's no way to go back and look at your exact ratings or win/loss from previous seasons. Although that would be a pretty cool feature ( @Conq @Bop ).
You can however earn badges on the website if you place high enough on the ladders. You can read more about that here: http://xpoff.com/threads/xpoff-arena-season-1-end-of-season-rewards.70939/

Onlydreams is exactly correct here.

I'd only add that it's an absolute blessing that they /do/ reset rating between seasons. Otherwise it would be very difficult to implement awards for each End of the Season rankings with a ladder full of 2.2k Brewmaster Monks from WoD.

@Sonicthehedg, if you go to that thread that Onlydreams linked to you, you can see the rewards that we give to your Forum Account based on your performance in the last season. It's possible that you were eligible for an award :)

I only keep the data I need to hand out awards (Top 50 of each bracket in EU/US, Top 2 of each Class) in between seasons, however. So if your character didn't fit into either of those spots, then unfortunately I won't know what your rating was :/

I see, so XPoff extracts hidden data from Blizzard themselves, sounds like some wonderful technological wizardry. Very cool, and very helpful! Thanks for the responses guys.

Last question, does this data extraction cost money for XPoff?? Or does Blizzard supply us with this information free of charge?

I believe you have to submit an inquiry to Blizzard and then they have to approve your access to the API. There are some other rules/guidelines after you have access, like how many times the site can ask for API every hour/day/etc.

p. You may not use the Battle.net APIs excessively. You are limited to thirty six thousand (36,000) calls to the Battle.net API per hour or such other limitation as Blizzard may deem appropriate. If You exceed this limitation or otherwise operate the Application in a manner that degrades the performance of the Battle.net APIs, Battle.net or Blizzard's games, Blizzard may suspend or terminate Your access to the Battle.net APIs. You may not use other third-party services to make additional requests on Your behalf.

I`m afraid that we`re sold outta feature admin/developers for the time being

Speaking of, how often do skirms pop?

It depends on the bracket, but in all brackets queues are fairly quick because of levelers.

I was queueing on a 20 yesterday in 3's, and we were getting something like 10 queues an hour, including length of games.

And that's in 3's - for 19's and 20's, 2v2 queues are pretty much 2-3 minutes all day.

Snap. You can queue for 2s specifically now? Did they bring back healer/dps too? Or naw

Nothing about the ques and their priority to put people in 3s has changed - 2s is still only for 2dps.

For the 60s bracket, ques fluctuate between <1-10 minutes throughout the day. Its nearly impossible to que as a 3s team since the chances of a random queing as healer would easily triple the wait time on ques. This increase in time happens to all brackets, albeit to a lesser degree for ones more active.
