As far as my experience on the PTR goes it's affecting raids and dungeons - with one exception. My procced WoD dungeon gear is still at the high level it was before. But for an alt you don't xp stop forever this isn't really an option if you don't want to farm dungeons for weeks and leveling out...

Copied some toons to confirm this: MOP (Mythic SoO) from 126 > 42 (Heirloom: 107) WoD (Mythic Raid) from 138 > 45 (Heirloom: 113) Legion (Mythic Throne) from 151 > 50 (Heirloom: 130) EDIT: Those are actual itemlevels that have been nerfed, not drops on the ptr. SoO Mythic drops 45ilvl

A short update after some time. Most people should have found out that SoO loot seems to be fixed. My ID this week dropped mythic gear again on 126ilvl (level 35 character). Heirlooms on the same level are ilvl97. I think this should make SoO best for 35. Anyone has an idea what WoD TW vs WoD...
