shorlty after making the original post, I poked around google for a bit but didn't find anything... tried logging into wow one last time - screen went black and I saw a spark come from the computer (pretty intense one too... it was comperable to a camera flash, and made an audible 'pop' noise)...

Don't worry about it. There definitely are a lot of prick cops out there... they are an extreme minority, but their actions give a bad reputation to the entire criminal justice system... just understand that for every prick, there are a lot of good people just trying to help their community...

That's an unfortunately common mentality. At the moment, we (the US) have a pretty broken criminal justice system. Lots of stupid laws... lots of corrupt officers... an inconsistent judicial system... and a "corrections" system with almost zero corrective aspects. Not really surprising that...

I'm pretty sure trading in game currency for any RL item - even a WoW time card - is against the ToS. While I have no intention of reactivating my account for normal gameplay at this time, I don't want to risk getting it banned incase I change my mind later down the road. If it isn't...
