I just logged in after a week break and noticed some of my pieces have been scaled down from 44 to 24 (wep, boots) So I guess items you obtained at ilvl 44 will still scale down, I'm betting eventually they will all be scaled down.

Ah I see, I thought they were tied to the assaults, I killed a few rares in WoD but they do not drop 44 ilvl, but ilvl 24, I guess it's only a few that drop the ilvl 44.

Can anyone please explain how these WoD assault rares work, do I have to be in the WoD time? and I understand that the assault only happen sometimes, but what I cant figure out is how to tell when theyre there.
