  • Resist does not seem to work at all anymore in pvp on the ptr(from the little testing I did). Guess shadowlands finally stopped it for good.
    Dang, now I am gonna have to farm for those because they will be worth a ton of gold later on. Oh well, at least i have a 120/50 for it.
    How long do you guys think before whitemend/spellfire is nerfed or disabled now its lvl 50? I will guess around a month after ptr goes live.

    I haven’t done extensive testing yet. I have a mage and a boomkin with the bis azerite traits for glacial spike/Starsurge dmg. Have you been trying? Been playing bgs too much to get around to it lol

    Heck no I spent all my materials for that on my level 70 warlock so I can't copy it over and no way am I gonna buy or farm all those materials again for testing or for a lvl 50 set thats likely gonna be nerfed lol. Knowing players though, it will absolutely become popular and probably get nerfed. Its strong at lvl 27/70, so I imagine its op at lvl 50.

    The move is probably to grab a bis azerite shoulders. Nzoth drops shoulders for cloth and leather I know. So unless you want like, 20% slow from Tidal surge or whatever, you can just grab a raid carry. I’ll give it a look before the prepatch goes. I should get the patterns before anyways for the lower levels so it’s def something I’ll get around to
    Mind Amplication DIsh fully works on the ptr fun to use. Last I tested on live only stun worked, but its been a while so it couldve changed.
    Dang, don't like that at all. Not only does it restrict your stacking but it makes certain classes much better at higher stats. Thumbs down.
    Just noticed on the PTR that if your pet is Tenacity you should be able to use Survival of the Fittest since there is no lvl requirement.
    Interestingly, that hidden ilvl thing players keep talking about increases from gems at low lvls as well it seems(greatly reduced rate tho).
    Are you sure? I am on the ptr right now and I see my agility going up specifically from an enchant on boots over the ilvl 44 limit.

    probably confusing ilvl req and level req in enchants. Isn’t this the same thing with that wod dungeon gear a while back we had?

    Indeed, it is exactly the same thing so I was hoping they didnt change/fix it, I didn't think especially with all the bugs now they would change something so minor. Its possible they confused the two, thats alright.

    I imagine it depends on the enchant? Some shit like incendiary ammo, some AP enchants, etc can all be applied but dont work
    My SoO mythic gear on the ptr ilvl is higher then the enchant limit of ilvl 44. If you want to enchant SoO, in case its best before prepatch
    I hope the ilvl squish happens at pre patch, if so I think its gonna be really fun.

    I'm almost positive the level squish will come with the prepatch.
    No corruption at all in Shadowlands it seems. Good to know not to farm for it especially at 119.

    Didn’t even think of that. Lots of time saved for sure lol. Any 119 with arathi Azerite gear will be insane though

    Eh from the squish Azerite gear stats don't seem as impressive anymore(to be expected), but I guess it depends on how well primary stats scale.
    Since it replaces the Whitemend set and 3 sockets from the head piece, I think it would have to proc a lot for it to be worth it anyway.
    If 120s remain the strength they are now in BfA, they are likely gonna be insane as 50 twinks in Shadowlands.
    Versatile getting nerf, time to stack mastery damage reduction + base versatility/surging vitality. Or stack a bunch of ineffable truths.

    I think on my resto Druid I’ll be moving towards masterful and just gearing for heal power. I was going vers build
    I dont believe so, but if it worked it would give a power boost if your in the 90 range and for some time after.
