EU+US Resto Shaman Question

Adam

Grandfathered
I've recently returned to the 29 twinking scene and have been working on some of my characters. I have a Resto Shaman that I built heavy stam on back in the day and was wondering what I can do to improve the build. Any suggestions are appreciated––especially relating to itemization (please provide reasoning if applicable). Here's a link to the armory: :) http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/darkspear/Ronjeremieh/advanced

I tend to use gladiators inscription on my shoulders and DPR with vitality enchant. Even on a level 20 you can reach about 6200 health with about 200 spellpower unbuffed when scaled. I have hit close to 11k when defensive cool downs are used on my level 20.
I have seen some level 29's with as high as 7,000 unbuffed. But their spellpower and cast times suffer.

I'm not going for pure stamina––I want to be able to heal well too. Most of the Resto Shamans I see in this bracket have less health than me, so I'm assuming going for heals over health is the better option? Just trying to figure out what to build to achieve that.

If you are not going for pure stamina then you should change your chest enchant to a stat enchant. There are a couple better ring choices as well. I use the shipyard ring and DPR on my level subbed level 20's. Although I believe that level 29's have some marginally better choices. You just give up secondary stats. If I were to make a level 29 I would probably gear it nearly exactly the same as I have geared my level 20's.
What people don't understand is you need to gear your character as an entire package. Not piece by piece. For instance, if you change your belt out to a Ghamoora's belt. You may lose some stamina, but you gain a hell of a lot of int. That means you can change something else out that gains you a little bit of stamina but loses a little bit of int.
Set yourself character "goals". Like health goals, spellpower goals, haste goals etc. until you get your gear set you want. That is the real "fun" of twinking. Not sitting around in town waiting in queue.

Have fun.

You tend to want to capitalize on haste, versatility set is advised against double bm, and I don't really see anything wrong with Allybeboba's post, surprisingly enough :^)
