EU+US Just made an Arena on PTR

    • So, I queued with my 2 rogues (outlaw/sub) and was aginst 2 war and as a Outlaw rogue I could just 2v1 them easily but didn't want the arena to end so quick, Gear seems to add more that 0.1% per Ilvl, just look at those screenshots I took :

    When you enter the arena you learn the honor trinket (no big news), as a rogue I had around 3k HP

    Gear seems to be relevant atm looks like they didn't implement the new baseline system yet (Gloves of the fang were increasing my haste and critical strike tho, so I really don't know how things will be later but if it remains like this twinks (gear wise) will still exist)

    Or there are some mechanic where you have to be fully equipped in all slots for you to gain 100% of the predetermined stats, to avoid people just waddling around naked

    Yeah I just thought of that, I wasn't able to equip / unequip anything when the arena started unfortunately so cant tell how much of a difference 2 pieces of gear would make
     
    yea its pretty much it, the less pieces you have, the lower will be your stats
    i was one of the warriors, we had exactly the same gear but different gloves, but we had exactly the same stats anyway

    i also tested AGM overdefending champion and it didnt increased any stats

    so its basically it, regardless the item quality/ilevel, all you have to do to reach max stats is filling all slots
     
    ilvl does not matter at 19, but having an item in a slot does. Having a head will give more stats than not having a head but a ilvl 20 head piece wont be better than an ilvl 10 head piece.

    Do you have a screenshot of your stats in that gear while not in arena? Just for reference...
     
    I'm just curious is all. It could be the case that the stats the character sheet is displaying are not the ones for the template, that could be intentionally hidden to avoid players crying about how a certain template is tuned.

    Hmmm.... they're doing everything they can, aren't they?
     
    Only bad thing I am seeing is that 29vs20 is not fair at all since no scaling 29s way better than 20s this might become another downfall for the 20s
     
    Same shit as endgame 100 atm. If you don't have trinket, you die, burst is insane but i suppose they will tune it down a bit. With my lvl100 sub rogue i can kill things in a CS now. With my lvl20 outlaw i can kill almost anything except survival hunters due to lack of mobility. Pistol Shot is wicked but not enough.
