High ilvl Gear Sets

I've managed to get 41 average ilvl on my pally (7 above pvp scaling) which is only +.7% to stats if the rumors are true, but I think I can push to 43 with double AGM's... Anyone else got a set of high ilvl gear for legion? I've been talking to a few people and I think we might see ilvl's as high as 45 with GF'd gear.

I'm using a 50 ilvl fishing rod though for my weapon, which is okay for casting as holy but not melee.

Let me know what you guys think, what your max PvP ilvl is on your character and whether you think I'm just prepping for a hoax of a doomsday or the real deal.

dark shaman mog will have #1 ilvl then it would be me

Dark shaman will require a level. It will also be a "summoned" transmogrification item. I.E. A closet only item more than likely. This has been discussed at length.

Good catch on the fishing pole. Pun intended...
I will have to check my level 29 paladin and see what it has. I have the jeweled fishing pole on it along with dual AGMs. I have not played in it quite some time. It may have dead man's hand too.

It is always good to plan ahead.
Failing to plan is planning to fail...

/cheers

Items will still have stats. And the scale will be the same for the bracket up to 34. With that being said wouldn't it be better to have stat item Rather than items with no stats

Are you stating that you read somewhere that the lower brackets will in fact keep their stats on their items?
Below character level 34 or item level 34?

I didn't read that anywhere. What I am stating is. Blizzard will blank slate gear with no stats. So even if u use gear with high ilvl and they don't have desirable stat, it won't do u much good compare to item with useful stat. To use dark shaman set for dps Boost doesn't make sense for they have no stat at all on them.

This is incorrect based on what Blizzard has told us. Each spec will have a different template with set stats. Those stats are then altered by a percentage based on the user's average itemlevel.

Most high ilevel pieces with no stats are likely to have level requirements added because of this.

I repeat that the stats on an item are not what will get boosted... That would be similar to what we have now when you go into a PvP instance with lower ilevel gear. Only the template gets boosted and that factors purely off of ilevel as far as we know.

I'm still of the opinion that we will likely be replacing our gear with PvP strongbox gear anyway, but fortune has favored people who speculated and prepared themselves before, so that could very well be the case again.
