29 Holy Paladin Guide.

Zelpher

Chi,Raq
Gear.
I stack Int=Stam=Haste the best way I can.
Stam is for how I get focused so much also a dead healer isn't healing.
Int=Haste for how I can cast my Spells quickly since this is a burst braket and have decent spellpower for output of heals.
I also try to stick with mail as I can for extra armor, if you're a Holy Paladin use that to your advantage.

Gameplay.
For healing, always use Holy Shock after you flash of light cause of the Glyph of Flash of Light, for extra healing and for burst healing on demand for entering combat with a friendly target low on health and not enough time to cast a flash of light.
As for burst damage, it's situational, if the low health focus target is low enough to get a kill use Holy Shock, Judgement and Crusader Strike if you're in range.
Word of Glory is for 3 Point Holy charge when healing a teamate for mana conservative reasons and always use after flash of light for the flash of light glyph.
My gear is based as mail as much as I can cause of defensive reasons.
LoH's is saved for clutch moments, when you need to save FC or a Top DPS Teammate.
With my haste always throw in a Denounce on the top Healing enemy or top DPS opposite team DPS to cancel out their crits if your teams health permits the time.
If you play Holy Pally you have 2 outs.
Trinket/Racial and bubble, use it wisely.
As a Holy Paladin, your main focus is keep you flag carrier alive. Remember that.
Always dipell DoT's off stelthies on your team when they are going for restealth, also a row of +2-3 more DoT's of anyone, and Freezes of your Melee teammates. Keep Fear, Polymorphs and Avenging Shield Silence dispelled off teammate healers your first concern though.
Taunt pets off teammates since you're a tank healer and if time and health permits.
If you're going OOM take a step back get out of combat and drink and hope your team pops some defensive CDs.

Race.
Human becaus of extra trinket slot.
Haste Trinket because of stacking haste gear and haste enchants.
Defending Champion because Vers adding to human racial and extra health right on time for a defensive cooldown.

Glyphs.
Glyph of Flash of Light, with my haste percentage and spellpower, that +10% Healing adds up to alot at the end of a match.
Glyph of Mounted Kings, For the buff that only you can get at 29 with that glyph, nothing wrong with +5% to stat.

Addons.
VialCooldowns to keep track of CC's.
HHTD to spot healers easy to peel/CC.

Enchants.
Necklace, Rings, and Cape. Stack haste.
Boots I use +5 stam, as a focus target and with Speed of Light I find +5 Stam more useful than the 10 % movement speed.
Weapon.
Mark of Wasong, because of adding to haste, plus in one PVP scenario, it can proc multiples times and refresh the proc. And Holy Paladin burst healing is the best.
Legs.
Sapphire Spellthread has most Int with Stam for a enchant to go along with gear/enchant setup.
Bracers.
Spellpower for that extra spellpower.
Chest.
+5 Stam I find is more useful than +2 to all stats, you are only gaining +2 Int, +2 Stam and +2 Spirit in the end.
Shoulder.
Greater Inscription of the Charged Lordestone I use is for the haste and Stam.

Talents.
Speed of Light, very useful for kiteing and catch up to teammates.
Glyph of Mounted King, for the buff.

If my Holy Paladin Guide isn't noted as "Guide Author."
Then this site is not Twink Information worthy.

Glyphs, gear, enchants, quests, macros, talents, races, consumables, scaling, roles a paladin can fill, addons...
Do I need to go on??
Give a dog a bone here.

After all this time playing hpal, and this is the best u have to offer? First off using holy shock right after a flash of light will lower ur healing and the only effective times to use it is if the target is on the verge of death and will not take ~500 dmg over the next 1.3 seconds. Which would be very rare if they are being focused on to the point of getting that low in the first place. and if you are not going to cast another flash of light afterwards. Lets look at the difference in healing, we will say base for flash of light is 750 and base of holy shock is 400 (keep in mind the higher ur spellpower the bigger the difference will be. Flash of light > holy shock > flash of light, 750 > 440 > 750 = 1940. Compared to 3x flash of light, 750 > 825 > 825 = 2400. Keep in mind because of gcd and haste u cannot act faster out of holy shock than flash of light so these two sequences take the same amount of time to complete. U are literally throwing away healing for more than likely no reason.

Denouncing healers, i am completely against this unless u have no need to heal and the enemy dps absolutely suck or its on a 29 Rdruid. Unlike many DPS healers do not have that high of a crit rate. Probably 15% max sometimes it being even 10. So they are not even likely to crit within ur denounce debuff. Compared to denouncing a hunter with 25% crit or BM monk with 20% and constant landslides.

Taunting pets off all teammates is generally a bad move as well, unless it is the fc, a stealthie or a character who will die before u get a flash of light off with a pet on him who will kill him and ur holy shock is on cd. Otherwise it would be best to just heal him, once the pet gets on u it will knockback ur healing casts. Pet dmg is so trivial its better to just heal thru it rather than let it lengthen ur hardcasts.

You mention nowhere about using empty dispells to stay in combat. Maybe just cause ive never seen u do it. This is where u dispell a target who no magic, poisons or diseases who is in combat. That in-turn makes u in combat. Great for not getting sapped and not wasting holy shock on staying in combat. Also taunting the enemy to stay in combat and keep them in combat, once again this saves u judgement and holyshock but the enemy must be in 25 yard range. Always great to keep taunt on mouseover so u can taunt a rogue to keep him in combat while still healing / assisting team.

You should mention how HoJ stops all aerial momentum of the character, so HoJing a falling efc would make him stop moving foward which could be key for stopping caps, trapping him in mid. Also i believe if u hoj a hunter who is in mid-disengage and haste touched the floor yet, he will not gain posthaste if he has the talent.

The base RPPM is 1.15 for mark of warsong, even with 20% haste or more the chance of it refreshing are extremely low. You would be lucky to get one in 10-15 bgs

Thats besides all the obvious things that need improving for a guide, but i got a feeling u formatted that way on purpose. So might aswell list some correct info right?

You forgot to mention how I've had procs refresh themselves witin 2 casts many of times. DO NOT talk to me about a 29 Holy Paladin Twink.

Stop feeding the troll please... he uses speed of light as a talent, if you can't see he's clearly delusional you need to learn to internet.

Lol upon further inspection... uses mark of warsong, haste trinket, haste inscription to shoulder??? smh...

Top kek...
You ask others to not post off topic in your your Holy paladin guide yet you do it in other people's guides, for shame. You should heed your own advice. Or are you a "do as I say, not as I do" type of person?

Ever on topic...
Glad to see the OP took some of my suggestions from the first page, and some some initiative to creating a guide! It does seem it made at least on other person try to create another class/spec guide for level 29's. There are so very few. One can only guess to as why.

/cheers

And that other person doesn't use Sprint to his advantage? THA FUCK?
Also, if you don't know who I am and how long I have been twinking a 29 Holy Pally.
You're not a real twink.
