Any real active twink guilds left?

Orchotts

Grandfathered
I am willing to commit all my wow time into a twink because I love it. However, it seems like all these guilds are not active or use to be.

Is there any active guilds still around? I will go to any server to be a part of it.

If need be, I will create a guild that will have an active core. So please, if you are active and have an active guild please let me know.

Most of the active guilds are in the 20 veteran community. Most of the 29 guilds have more or less faded into obscurity

Like Cig said, not really any active 29 guilds on US currently. I recommend just getting people's btags and setting stuff up like that, much more convenient, only real reason to have a guild now is to fund people.

Btags > Twink servers > Guilds. Been like this for last 2+ years for all brackets. I would go as far to say that the only guild that would trump this theory would be in the 10-19 guild Waw tawent/ Skill ratio.

No disrespect to any guilds, just Honeybadger's opinion.

So, if I want to twink, I need to do it at the 10-19 bracket otherwise there is no point? What about high brackets like 39, 70 and such?

Do they suffer the same fate?

You asked about active guilds. 10-19, 20-29 pugs are both crap. B tags will get u 5 mans or btag war games. Only reason to join a guild is if u want to meet some new people.

Have to agree with HB on this one. I have been twinking since Vanilla and Blizzard really shot themselves in the foot when they took away so many guild perks. Twinks can do just fine outside of a guild.

The 10-19 bracket is totally different than the 20-29 bracket. They operate with different strategies. The population in the 20-29 bracket is most likely higher than the 10-19 bracket.
The veteran level 20's do more "stuff" in the 20-29 bracket than level 29's do. You can choose that route even if you are a subscriber. Many of us have.
Many of us also play in the 10-19 bracket as well. It has plenty of organized play too.

Not necessarily, it all depends on what you want to get out of the game. Practically all I do is solo queue any more.
Again, HB is correct here on joining a guild. Guilds are not a necessity. However, they are a great way to connect with people with the same interests though.
Have a wonderful day!

I see, thank you all for your help with this matter. I come from joining guilds to help advance through the game or join because they are like minded people.

The idea of just giving a btag and when you want to do something you ask is new concept for me so, sorry if I came across rude.

Well, I am twinking a shadow priest, hit me up if you need me.
