Vote for your best expac. Do not vote for cata automatically out of nostalgia. Also, disregard WoD's queue times. This poll is based purely on gameplay and mechanics.

mop it had the most viable classes, ele was fun af, and the most balanced imo the ranged meta was awesome, healers were op af made very fun midfights

Can i ask the people who prefer cata over mop why they enjoyed it more? I remember when 24s first started, i got very bored pretty quickly before i stopped. I was knocking you guys out silly with just the whites as a rogue. The hit was a huge issue and zero scaling. Lets also not speak of the gem exploit. /shudders

Best memory wise - cata.
Best gameplay wise, hate to saying - wod
Wod gave scaling and important spells that gave specs new life in this bracket + new bgs and arenas.
Ofc we got influx of 29 kids roling fotm and activity went to shit but that was bound to happens sooner or later to the only twink bracket that popped 24/7.

you sr got sick understanding of fun.
usless 20 min bgs where no one could kill anything isnt fun. nor 7 jumping around eles (who nice to point out died asap as got nerfed) spaming thunderstorm to whoever got near them. just another fotm.

Second this. Even though I have fond memories of Vanilla and tBC because I was on a cutting edge raiding guild.
Wrath was the best. It had the best end game bosses. My favorite ones for sure. It instituted hard modes. Wintergrasp was really awesome! TONs of new game mechanics came out during Wrath. We still has resistances! Which added another dimension to the game I think. We had weapon skills! I could go on and on! So much has been taken away since Wrath. It truly is the reason why the game has been on the decline since then.

/cheers

wod > 29 i guess.

I would say running WSG and any other BG as a level 20 f2p twink nowadays is "Fun" and Challenge in the same time.

You will get fun games when you are a F2P more than when you are a 29. That is for sure, the outplay coming from a F2P to a 29 is really awesome.

I tried Vet arms warrior in PvP when i was playing for Needs Mastery, and i soloed 2 BMs, 1 was 29 and 1 was 20. Pretty easy. God Sader proc x3. Lived with 30hp popping all my CDs.

Yet i didn't find it fun. I don't want the game to become "that" bursty and yolo. I want it to require much more skill, like a f2p. Now someone will argue and say here "So you are saying people that aren't playing F2P don't have skill ?" No, i am not saying that. I am simply telling you a fact, that it requires more skill/dedication to win a game as a F2P than a vet/29.For you have the disadvantages.

People have different ideas of fun.

Tfw I perform better on my f2p arms warrior than my vet arms warrior XD

Memory Wise - Cata. Borean Tundra had 5+ people on everyday. We used to organize premades through a Facebook group we created. It was fun while it lasted... I was a noob though at the time, and i was focusing more on the "exploring" side of WoW. I had lots and lots of fun trying to explore each and every zone by my own as a f2p. Dying a lot, just to reach this objective. I admit, i loved that Expansion.

But MoP - It has grown me as a player. I wanted to improve in every possible way and i tried out Guardian Druid... it was hella fun. I loved it! I used to group with people, have little premades with my realm buddies. Swiftness potion was not a restriction for me back then. Ill talk about it in "WoD-".

WoD - To some of you this may be the worst expansion ever. I would say for me, no it is not. Despite MoP being my favorite, WoD improved me a damn lot as a player. I got to know about Map awareness where the enemies are, pretty much paying attention to everything. The coolest part about this one is that, they added the 20% bonus speed on chants, that a player could get. So, using a swift pot would give you less of an advantage than it gave you on MoP. And this drastically improved my thoughts on how should i outplay now etc. Of course, in this expansion i got to know about Twink Cup, and by watching loads of streams i got better and understanding what a 10v10 actually meant and the true mechanics of Warsong Gulch. I am not yet a complete player, i will never be i guess. But i am definitely waiting for Legion to go Live. So i can improve more and more.
