Calling out all US pussies

I give you a valid point and then you give me a joke as counter arguement. This is why I didn't wanna argue with you man, you just look to start some shit and if you start losing then you'll just come with some random shit and end the arguement that way.

Oh I see now, that was 3-4 pages ago, we have changed two gears since then. You said being an American was not an accomplishment. And I said it was. If you had read further, which you did not. I said that that was the beauty of America, you do not have to be a born here to become a citizen. Millions of Americans were not born here. In fact, people take the oath to become an American each and every day.
Many many people risk their lives and leave everything behind to come here. As an example, a woman I work with came to the US on a raft in the early 70's with nothing but the clothes on her back and now she has a doctorate.

So you support illegal immigrants?

So you support illegal immigrants?

Taking the oath and becoming a naturalized citizen is part of being an American if you are an immigrant. Arnold Schwarzenegger has done it.
Your question is too broad. If you mean "support" the reason why immigrants come to the US, yes I do. I empathize why someone would want to make a better life for themselves.
If you mean, monetarily. I am sure in some way, fashion or form most Americans "support" illegal immigrants in some way. Either directly or indirectly.
If you mean politically. No, I do not. Illegal immigrants are criminals. They have commited a crime by circumventing the immigration system.

I agree that if you fight to become an American then you can be proud of it. But if you were born into it, then there's no reason to be proud.

Hence why it doesn't make sense that you say you're proud to be an American.

I explained that in my earlier posts.. :\

Andreas, that post is retarded man. Who the fuck made up that rule in your country? Coz I'm pretty sure in 95% counties you can be proud of your own country, even if your born into it.

I hope what you just said was sarcastic... Because that's possibly the dumbest shit I've read all day lol

Obviously much of my generation (I'm 21 years old) has not yet fought for America's freedom. However I can guarantee you a considerable amount have ancestors who fought in WW1 or WW2 (you know, because there's this thing called a draft). I have not and probably will never fight for my country. BUT, my grandfather and his brother both died in WW2 defending their country and giving me the chance to live freely. Their sacrifice thus makes me proud to be an American. This case I just explained can be found in many, many, many families and generations of American people.

You see, that is the thing. As America is such a melting pot with so many people always coming we few Native Americans or Americans with a long American lineage.
For instance, my maternal grandmother is a 100% Comanche. And on my father's side I am a 6th generation Texan(that makes me a Texian). My great-grandfather's greatgrandfather actually fought for the independence of Texas at the Battle of San Jacinto and help make it into a country.
One would think with Europeans would have a rich history for their families.

Practically every male in that generation fought in WW2. One of grandfathers did not, as he was a farmer. But his brothers did. My father's generation had Vietnam and mine had Desert Storm. In America, almost all men are required to sign up for the selective service when you turn 18. There are very few exceptions. We don't have a draft though. Our military is voluntary. And is a professional military.

Y'all need to learn to read. I wrote proud to be American not fucking proud of America. There's a difference.

retards

What the fuck does your families origins have to do with you being proud of being American?
It's like saying:
I'm proud to have this fortune because my family also had this fortune and they fought and died to keep this fortune. So yeah, this is my fortune now and I'm proud to own it even tho I was born into owning it.
did that make sense to you? I hope not

Just stop... Jesus

The US mainland was not truely in any "danger" during WW2. The only mainland invasion was from 8 Germans that were quickly caught.

I like America. It let's me eat 30 pounds of Hamburger, while sipping down a mug full of bacon grease and chocolate. Can't forget the bacon chili cheese fries, covered in deep fried Twinkies!

It also lets you walk down to your corner grocery store and peruse the huge organic food section.

then according to you, culture means nothing...? thats like you fighting in a war and 200 years later some idiot says "that war they fought for was stupid because it was 200 years ago" and "we shouldn't let others be proud of that" etc... I bet you had a lot of arguements with your history teacher in school
