Question For The Entire 19 Community

Because ptr sometimes has really really broken items. It's buggy and anything you do on ptr has to be redone every time they put out a new one and it's not up 100% of the time

Idk, I figured it was perfect. Disregarding the gear. We could all farm it since we get insta 100s. And we can say fuck heirlooms and go back to not using them :p Idk, I figured it was just .. You know? A good place to do it at. And it's free .. I mean come on now
 
US 19s are very active right now so why mess with whats working? The potential gains don't seem to out way the risks. I don't think people realize how goods 19s have it right now. Games are constantly popping during peak times and lately there have been two games going on at the same time.There were pugs going on while two guilds were doing premades aka 20 players from the bracket plus all the people that were watching the games on stream instead of playing pugs. If people want to improve the bracket in any way, people should be queing on both factions and playing classes that each faction is lacking.

I know how good you guys are atm. I'm not suggesting that everyone swaps over. I'm just throwing an idea out there for worst case senerios .. People could go inactive due to money, whatever the case is. Idk, it was just a thought. I was curious is all, not asking for a change in the bracket :p

It was fun back in the day when the twinks from all the different BGs (pre merge) would copy there twinks to ptr. Everyone would meet up at stv arena and duel.
 
When I raided HC with D&T, we "practiced" quite a bit on the PTR to get to know the encounters before they dropped on patch day so we could be literally "World's First at ...." The PTR is inherently unstable. It crashes, it has bugs, etc. Mats for items are very very sparse.
We would get little to no support from Blizzard. Even less than we do now. I know it sounds like an awesome idea, and it is an awesome idea when timed correctly, more on that later. Now, might not be the correct time.
The correct time to try is when the servers come up in preparation for 7.0. BG queueing is not immediately available, so we would have to watch for that. And there is usually more than one server a available. We would need to communicate. We could also duplicate one some our toons over there for free with bags packed full of twink gear. And distribute it amongst each other. But that is many many months away. However, now would be the time to start planning for such an "event". Failing to plan is planning to fail.

I don't know what EU 19s looks like at the moment but is there enough activity to even warrent a premade event? Would be cool if we could do a US all-star vs EU all-star 10v10 tho.
 
Better off getting a private server to host an eu/us 10v10 or something of the sort.

Anyone who has raided seriously knows what the PTR is, a fucking mess. Add that on to the fact that blizzard gives zero fucks about it at all (beta is the actual test kingdom), the crashes, the amount of coordination needed, and the rest of the aids that ptr is.

Its a fine idea to test new metas for 7.0 Legion, but atm 19s seem to be fine retail.
 
Beta is in on invite only. When a Beta patch is "finished" it is released to the PTR. Naturally more players play the PTR than play the Beta, thus more bugs will be found. The largest number of those bugs won't effect us. However, with 7.0, there is no telling what is going to happen because of the new PvP gearing system.

The PTR isn't always up and when it is, it is often very laggy/buggy. Those are reasons enough to not twink on it.

I just listen to what Lord Pizza says about how people don't realize how good 19s have it right now and added a little bit of my own at the end. Every 19 pug game may not be as competitive as they were before the Twink Cup, due to may skilled players leaving the bracket, but the activity is still there.
