3v3 Arena Night Rules and Signup Sunday - 4/10/2015

EU - 3v3 Arena Night - Sunday 20.00


I think everyone can agree on this wedensday didnt live up to the expectations,
and I appologize to everyone showing up. That being said I think we can conclude horde is lacking players,
It feels like every night we are quing we are dropping players, fewer and fewer shows up, which I find understandable to a certain degree.
On saturday we will be quing WSG and TP and I hope alot more will show up than this wedensday and with a better attitude!

As I mentioned in my previous thread a few people have requested having a 3s tournament,
so I will be setting up a small tournament this sunday with a small pricepool of 100k to the winner.
I will admit I do not currently have a big enough view on the balance and specially not in 3s to make a ruleset myself.
So we will be copying the US 3s Ruleset and I hope everyone is fine with that.

Time and date:
The event will take place 20.00 on sunday the 4th of October.


Rules

  • Format: Battleground games, are done by real double elimination - every game best of 5 - finals best of 7. If winning team loses in the first BO7, they will have to do another BO7 for decider.
  • Any teams that are 10 mins late for their games, automatically lose that game, So on and so forth.
  • 1 Class Limit, 1 healer limit, 1 Hybrid DPS limit. 1 stealth limit (This includes all classes), Double DPS limit, Must have at least one healer class.
  • Any spec that has healing abilities that can be cast on their team mates, counts as an Hybrid DPS, not including warlocks' health'stones.
  • Ferals and BM Monks banned.
  • Only 1 Melee is allowed per arena team and the following melee are:
    Rogues: (All Specs)
    Warrior: (All Specs)
    Shaman: (Enhance)
    Paladin: (Ret-Prot)
    Monk: (Wind Walker)
    Hunter: (All Specs) - I know hunters aren't melee, but they have to be on this list.
    Druid: (Guardian)

  • All grandfathered glyphs are banned.
  • All grandfathered gear that can do any kind of cc is banned.
  • Green Whelp Armor is banned.
  • The Following Profession Items are allowed:
Minor Recombobulator
Major Recombobulator
Gnomish Death Ray
Red Whelp Gloves
Gem Studded Leather Belt
Figurine - Black Pearl Panther
Figurine - Jade Owl
Tome of Kings
Royal Guide to Escape Routes
Any item with on use or proc stats/cc ect, if they are not on the list, are not allowed
All profession items with persistent effects are allowed (Such as Catseye Ultra Goggles/Green Lens ect...)

  • Only 3 players per team, your not allowed to change class, spec or race. Only thing your allowed to change is Talents and Glyphs.
  • No Toys allowed
  • ​When you sign up, you have to have the players name/class/spec/race and team name if you choose. - Make sure you Hyper link your team characters names with their armory if you know how to do it please.
  • Anyone seen breaking any of these rules or going outside of the rules, will automatically lose a game.

Signup:
​When you sign up, you have to have the players name/class/spec/race and team name if you choose as in the format shown below.
Make sure you Hyper link your team characters names with their armory if you know how to do it please.

Example:

Team Name: Team Retards
Shamatix: Disc Priest
Warthammer: Prot Pala
Dhenrud: Destro Warlock

Team Name:Player 1 / Spec/ Class Player 2 / Spec/ Class Player 3 / Spec/ Class

Pricepool:
This is meant as a fun tournament and to promote the bracket,
I will however be dumbing 100k into the winning team they can split, on a server of their choice.


All that being said I hope we will have an entertaining and fun tournament,
and we are always welcmoe to suggestions, personally I think its a freaking long ruleset,
and I would LOVE to get it shortened down, so please bring in some suggestions on how we can improve it for the future.

This is not a huge major tournament as twink cup lol, its just meant as a friendly small community based tournament, I am not expecting more than 3 -4 teams, the same amount the US 3s tournament had, there will be more 3s tournaments in the future, so people have no reason not to level up their chars at this point. People are telling me they have a hard time to commit to a bracket where they are only able to play their character 2 times a week, so trying to have a small tournament here and there cant hurt in my eyes. It's not like its a battleground where a minimum of 20 people is required to show up.
 
LF supercool dudes not afraid to lose and who want to get drunk on sunday to play 3's with a Scottish person (me).

I know it's just a little tournament, but this way there will be ''NO'' tournament.
And I know alot of people want to participate to this. Not because of the 100k gold but because of the experience and fun. So lets just move it for another week. Trust me, it will be the best for everyone.
We will have way more teams and we give the community more time to arrange stuff.

Or just make a second one next sunday!? I dont see your problem I know atleast 3 teams that will sign up which was the exact amount of teams I expected and the same amount the US people had.

Well I will be quing WSG / TP but in all honesty I feel like people have kinda fallen off, so I am unsure if people will be quing up tonight or not, anyways I will be quing and I will be spamming by btag at 20.00
