First off I'd like to say that this series was everything I hoped it would be, your teams did great Saxxon wsggod and I think Pizza and Laurenti had great chemistry and I was really impressed with how pizza did with the changes in the spectating addon this week, really great job from everyone.
Clarification of the nineteen wargaming league season 1 format
due to some confusion that was caused during the second and third series of the first season of the NWL, I would like to clarify some things about the format of the season.
First, each series will consist of three games. If a team wins the first two games the third game will be played regardless. Three games will be played to complete the series, nothing less. Refusal to play the third game will result in a 0-3 forfeit.
Second, a clarification of the point system. The winning team will be awarded three (3) points, The losing team will be awarded no points.
If there is a tie game, then each time will be awarded one (1) point.
Note: the last cap rule is not in effect for the first season of the NWL. (this will discussed during the break). Notice the implications of this game; a game ending with the score of 0-0, 1-1, 2-2 will result in each team earning only one (1) point. Therefor, a 2-2 tie results in each team being awarded one (1) point. (see warsong warlords vs ugly girls get tap water game 1 ).
If there is a tie in the standings after every game of the season has been played, the first tiebreaker will be a cap difference. Cap difference = flags captured by your team - flag captures that your team gives up
If there is a tie on cap difference, total flag caps for your team will be the tie breaker
if there is a tie on total flag caps, the team that earned more points (point referring to 3 pints for a win, 1 point for a tie) against the oppenent that they are tied with will be seeded higher..
All rules were communicated to the guild representatives before the series started and made readily available on the structure thread.
