Have we considered restricting barrel vomits for BM 'EffSee's using Guard? They can kite to infinity minus totem.

Can someone tell me why this is starting @ 8 / 20.00 EST? What was the thoughts going into this decision?

Re: Queueing Silvershard Mines and Battle for Gilneas This Wednesday 9th of September

Because it's worked well thus far. It gives East US time to fire up the queues and allows for 4-5 hours of games before the West US closes out games at 9-10 their time. It's easy for "hardcore" players who'd like to start early to take initiative by getting on the Qlist early and convince their friends to follow suit.

Tell me why 5 pm EST wouldn't work.

The onus is on you to explain why it would work. Preferably with an actual count of at least 20 people who are available to queue at 5PM for at least 3 hours straight.

The only information as to why 8 PM was choosen was because its worked thus far. Like seriously? I asked "What was the thoughts going into this decision?" .. You don't have previous experience before you go into a decision starting from scratch.

So as to what you just said, my explanation to why 5 PM would work, is that you can't argue against 5 PM apparently.

Therefor, 5 PM is better, since the earlier the better.

Why is this even an issue. Its always been 8 pm est.

We're not going to continue giving you the benefit of the doubt if you're just going to regurgitate my posts in an attempt to assemble a valid point.

So I'll make it easier this time. Find just 15 twinks who are committed for 3 hours straight at 5 PM EST and we'll concede that maybe 5 twinks are casually interested in queueing at that time.

Why are you dodging my questions?

In case you forgot, I'll list them for you.
  • What made you choose 8 PM as the queue time?
  • Why wouldn't 5 PM work?

Common sense. Starting at say 5pm est means 2pm for the west coast folks. I am not sure if you are familiar with the traditional work day, but those hours are 9-5. Not too mention some people are in school. Does that clear things up for you?

Indeed it does. Calm down with the aggressive tone, thnx.

He's not being aggressive. It's just appallingly obvious which makes us think you're trolling.

For one that lives in the EU and is most familiar with GMT, it's hard to understand how the specific EST times affect a whole region.

that's pretty obvious. :^)

US Geography, timezones, and average workday hours aren't difficult. I'm glad we're on the same page now.

We didn't save the day in WW2 so that we'd have to pay attention to other nation's timezones.

It's common sense that one does not care about something that isn't related to one.
