GG19 Mentors

Tollo

RIP <Quality Control>
GG19 has done wonders for the bracket so far. Having funded over 200 new twinks, we have been able to make a serious impact on the community. But this is only half of the story. It's also important to prepare applicants for the competitive, high skill-capped environment of our community. With that in mind, we are excited to announce the next step in the GG19 movement.

Introducing GG19 Mentor.

Whenever a new applicant is accepted into our program, they will be offered guidance by one of our mentors. These mentors are well established, highly distinguished players who have proven themselves to be some of the best players in the bracket. These players have stepped up and are offering their time to help the new or returning players get acclimated to the meta and teach them the tips and skills that have made these players such dominant forces in the bracket.

Below are the players who have offered up their time to mentor GG19 applicants:

Arcane Mage: Hunnybuns19 (A+H)
Boomkin: Loveshack (A) / Pizza (H)
Brewmaster Monk: Curley (A+H)
Frost Mage: Camocross (A+H)

Hunter: Myyce (A) / Ezeron (H)
Mistweaver Monk: Tiptoe (A) / Blurz (H)
Paladin: Nicozy (A+H)
Priest: Cipe (A) / Sudowoodo (H)
Resto Druid FC: Vanillamilk (A) / Hunnybuns19 (H)
Rogue: Saxxon (A) / bigmoran (H)
Shaman: Matando17 (A) / Zeiren (H)
Warlock: Yourealive (A+H)

Windwalker Monk: marblea (A+H)

Tollo put a lot of time into this. My hat is off to him and all the other fellas that stepped up to make this happen. It's pathetic seeing people bitch and complain about new players making beginning mistakes. NEW players making BEGINNER mistakes. Shocker, right!? Well instead of yelling at them we need give friendly advice and constructive criticism. We were all back-peddaling noobs once.

Are the mentors going to Skype with these applicants and watch them play warsong on share screen? that would be a great way to help them out, and I would find that very helpful ( if I was a new player). :D

uhhh, this is about as nicely as I can say this, but I really would recommend putting saxx in the WW monk slot instead of marb....

The teaching method will be left up to the discretion of each mentor. Each class works differently and therefore will require different teaching methods.

I have access to a HUGE ventrillo server for those that do not want to share Skype/IPs with people. Plenty of open rooms.

so they can share their ips with you instead right?

As you are sharing it with the admins and Mods of TI right now.
Feel free to find an article where someone was DDoSed because their IP was shared from a Ventrillo server. I fear you will not be able to find as many as you can as you can find for Skype( where ALL have access). But you may want to do that on another brand new thread. As it would be off topic here.
