Hmm, I wonder if the devs intended a banner can be placed where warrior charge pathing cant even reach, I'm sure this want meant to be in the game.

Sucks that races and specs can't even reach this spot.
Beast mastery hunter totally is obsolete now.

An exploit (known as "explotive activity" by Blizzard) is a method of playing the game in a way not intended by the game developers to gain an advantage over other players. As with all massively multiplayer online games, World of Warcraft has its share of players who exploit and cheat.

I wonder if GSC had an advantage over BtB in any point of this game.

I guess I'll post my opinion here too since you made another thread and a video for this

GSC should NOT be disqualified from the cup for this, the games should be replayed (if BTB wants to replay them) as this is by far the most fair option here.

I agree that this jump is dumb, but seeing players pushing this hard to get a team DQ'd from the cup over something like this just makes me sad, especially given how dominant GSC was in game 1 of the series against BTB and how well they played against JCM.

Glad we're enforcing the rules then.

Doesn't this AGAIN fall under the same issue as the jump Muskie made known available a week ago? It's not considered a banned jump at the time when GSC did it. With this info, Myrm can make a ruling on it, and if Myrm feels the games should be replayed, that's fair, but DQ'ing a team for a non-illegal jump at the time is absurd.

But then it's also pretty obvious why WFS is pushing this so hard.

As player in the Twink Cup I can proudly say I'm tired of rules being changed with short notice. The rules changed considering the sr and wfs games 19 mins before games started, certainly is disappointing EBLG and AE didn't have these rules implemented earlier. Considering these two teams were dqed for not having people on their to roster play. *Just like to put out there that rules are being changed, rules aren't being followed, and rules are not being enforced*. Sorry to drop the ball on anybody but people are playing for 7 grand and if rules are being made in bias matters this is just ridiculous. Also disappointing that it was deemed that this jump was do able by all races from imgurs I've seen of chats earlier, then it takes the community to investigate the issue and find out its not true.

Most of the people participating in this tournament aren't really here for the 7,000 dollars, but rather to promote 19's and compete in competitive games in the 19 bracket to determine who's squad has the best twinks in the gulch. Rules are rules. True. But I don't think GSC (a competitive team who could win this thing) should be DQ'd from a community-driven tournament for this. Not only are many of the members on GSC frequently active twinks who have helped spur on alot of activity within the bracket with plebmades and such, but they also were favored coming into these games. I don't think GSC would purposefully cheat against BtB in the first place. We've already had enough teams forfeit their games so far in the Twink Cup, and I'd hate to see one of the strongest teams in the tournament be kicked out. Replay the games if it's that big of an issue.

But the rules weren't changed. At the time of that game being played, that was not an illegal jump.

If new information comes to light that shows it having a clear advantage to a team based on races, then it should be added to the list of the illegal jumps. Then it's between Myrm and BTB to decide whether the games should be replayed or not.

You are suggesting disqualifying a team for a non-illegal jump because of information presented AFTER the games. I shouldn't have to explain how wrong that is.

I'm simply copy and pasting the rules.

Can you stop whining about pointless **** ***. You are trying to make the TC so much more difficult than it should be. He changed his name, whoopty ******* do. It has no bearing on the outcome of the games.

No rule was broken under TC rules. You can maybe, maybe get a stretch with blizzard's ToS but even then I would be surprised if it was considered an offense. No 3rd party program was used to get there. The jump is just unable to be done by certain races which indicates a design flaw of the map.

By the same token Blizzard would have to ban hunters who are able to disengage to stumps that other classes can not get up to.

you're being silly man. that is by no means an exploit, and anyone can get there besides male goblins and maybe gnomes. who plays that race in the tc anyway? it's a simple jump and if you are just now seeing it then lololol. not personal.

Well the rules got broken looooong ago in all honesty, already in the arena turnament, no disqualification happened nor did the games get replayed, all that happened was a "new rule" got added.... So people should just adapt to that action as we have all seen how it got handled earlier?

Glad we're enforcing the rules then.

Glad we enforced the rules in the arena tournament, oh wait JK....

yo, my 2 cents, even tho its not needed. win mid, force efc to drop, or send boomy and hunter, i know hunters cant stealth, but breaking off as one is ezpz, druid can run wildcharge too, so yea, boomy and hunter alone are enough to down a efc (at stacks), but main point is its and advantage that can quickly become a disadvantage.. also if ur counter argument is "what about the return?" well if you cant get up there, can they?, JUST MY 2 CENTS..

The "rule changes" were to ensure that players could still play the class the signed up on even if it wasn't the exact toon they signed up on. In Moran's case it was the exact toon he signed up on but he had gotten a name/race change, in sliq's case it was the same race and class. The same rules were applied to Alpha Echelon on Friday when their warrior got banned, people funded him a new one and he was allowed to level it before the games. In yesterday's games the problem with EBLG and AE was that the PLAYERS on their roster were absent, and this situation was handled in the same way that it had been in every other instance of this occurring in the tournament; they had to ask the opposing team leader if they were allowed to sub players from outside their roster.
