Just a little story on the 2 years away.
While I have been away I have had the game play experience one can only wish for. Though I still lack in gameplay style I learned so much about arena. Faelqt Wizkidone Flynn Bop Cer Oldspike Vailent Spewfeel Lluyd Broc Swerve Lockqt Frostrole Robbyjuana reit Streetnoodle Krew/Sweetluvin Doz Hydox Izac Lankypuss Reportednips Ittybitty Original, are not all but just a few people that have helped me a whole lot within the game.
I originally saw no light in casters or how a mage could do well in pvp as a starter. I was on EU when I was told about a realm called Aerie Peak and a video done by Swagcleavic/WIzkidone.
At the time I did not transfer back over to US because things were popping so much on EU. Anyone that played in cata eu know Cripzblood,Flipzmytoast, the notorious Rusty interlope or something like that, Reham and the aggramar crew. BGs were really a warzone back in cata and would go either way nearly all day aswell.
When Mop hit I was able to watch a swagcleavic stream and I had just came back to US. I rush to Guru arena as fast as I could hoping I would get to wargame vs him. At the time my hunter was not really geared but had enough power/health at 1400 to be useful. When I played vs him I took notice to the way he used cc chains and positioning to his advantage as his healer was Kaige. After playing vs them I went searching tons of pvp things and learned more about CC chains and DRS and how comps like double war hpal could actually be beaten by a mage/lock/healer team.
In 5.4 just when I thought I had seen it all I saw this.

I did a few games vs them and I was opened up to a new level for F2P play as I had never seen such coordination before.
I noticed the druid would be distanced nearly perfect at all times avoiding cc and the mage and lock were fast with switching cc on to all 3 members of my team. Keep in mind that a noob or new comer that has been on a survival hunter in cata thinks the team with the most damage will always win. This was not the case however I learned damage can be countered by cc and pressure. I also learned pressure might not be on you but when you healer isn't really playing the game you are fucked.
In effort to bounce back I got lucky and teamed up with Streetnoodle and I called Izac on Bnet and asked if he would do the unthinkable and play shadowpriest . As you know in 5.4 priest had major utility of cc and I figured along with that a shield would be nice too. This was one the the first times I knew I had to leave survival and roll MM which I never liked doing. I knew that in order to beat Wizkidone Fael and Bop I would still need damage. Survival did damage but that MLD was so fast explosiveshot would only drop someone to 65% before I was cc'd or Bop healed it up. When the arena started Faelqt and Wizkidone ran in(if you played vs them you would know they waste no time setting up cross cc) I was able to meld the first fear and that forced Wizkidone to run in and arcane explosion. Quickly after that I set up my CC on the druid and started casting aimed shot on the mage within the window the mage and lock where trying to cc my rdruid which is very hard if u know streetnoodle(he sits back so dam far) but things went as planed the mage dropped to about 30% or less health then blinked into a fear from Izac and the rdruid got panda stunned(lol pandas). I will tell a few more stories later.
