i do this with all my 90s

boots/belt/bracer/gloves contender's 4 set bonus for 400 pvp power and extra pvp power from these pieces
its about 15% damage increase

then pick one 4 set bonus from this list

Item Sets - World of Warcraft

sets like: (2) increase attack power by 25 does not scale, flat % increase is better
ilevel 318 + if you are going to use mastery gems

i use 1 ring from cataclysm tier vendors with an extra gem slot
cata pvp trinkets scales higher

raid finder tiers scales higher than normal/heroic too

prideful weapons for pvp power

90 characters are just not going to shine that much in bg's with the presence of twinks, and especially not in wpvp. If lookin for most bang for your buck you'll have to look towards 99twinking tbh.

i wasnt sure about pvp power, i did some researchs
instead of flat % damage, now it gives 2 points to primary atribute for each point of pvp power
tested on BG and everything matchs

If you're not a class who takes a huge hit weapon damagewise, then I'd say you could work with prideful weapons and prioritize either double trink and a gearpiece or one trink two gearpieces. My boy vayporjr fools around with prideful weaps as assassination and can peel most classes like bananas.
