Combat: Shadowfang/BvB (opener)...switch then to 2x Shadowfang. Assa: ToV/BvB.
That is BiS.
Why SF + BvB for opener only? Curious. You mean bvb MH or OH?
BvB offhand ofc
Me and a mate testet that for combat the damage with 2x SF is higher in thd long run, due to the slow offhand. The 2 agility loss is not that important, well only for the opener.
After 1:28min of doing constant damage u will profit from double sf.
I prefer going sf/bvb becoz rogue is a burst class.
Btw: go assa with a different from all known setup and do damage as hell![]()

1:28 min isn't a long enough test to conclude a definate result
By switching weapons you are losing out on a global cooldown right after ambush where you should try to pack in as much burst as possible, rogue's aren't about substained DPS or else everyone would be rolling haste enchants because they will give you more DPS than vers in the long run.
SF + BvB would be BiS, don't bother switching weapons its never worth the loss of a GCD
If u can not find a BvB go 2x Shadowfang for sure.
With all the new scaling, what to use? is my question.
Seen all kinds of different weapons being used by all rogues. shadowfang x 2, shadowfang x 1 + bvb, bvb x 2, heirlooms, bla bla please help
