Today I got a bugged queue as shown in the screenshot. Bgs have also gone up to 40 minutes when it says the average wait time is 8 minutes. We gotta inform blizzard like we did before.

Is that a bug?

On my Oceanic Realm, it constantly says 8 or 9 or 10 min queues, yet we have to wait easily 30 to 40 mins.

Is there a way to fix this?

Many subs may be on their Tanaan quest lines and playing with the docks or in the new new raid. Lest we forget, we are less than a 100 hours into the new patch. Might not need a knee jerk reaction quite yet.

Remember that it is a moving average. So the transition from peak to off-peak will show the queues being shorter than they actually are at that point in time.

as others have said, pretty sure this was just a one-night thing rather than a bug. i've had fairly quick queues today, even had four av pops - yet i also logged off last night after waiting in a 40+ min queue.

i usually average around 20-30 min for random bgs when i queue on horde at that time, i think it was around the same before i xfer'd from alliance. i've noticed more btag friends playing on their 100s so that's probably why - will be interesting to see if the queues speed up this weekend.
