Rogue Item Questions

Both aren't good at 29, Blackvenom Blade is better than the dagger and loom shoulders are better than those shoulders

I would suggest getting the shoulders for an amazing mog item

Farming BvB, but it doesn't look like its in my future. Don't really have access to expensive items. Have both loom daggers, Sentinel's and quest daggers so I'd like to know more than "Bvb is BiS."

WsG Dagger is 6 agi 3 stam
ToV is 6 agi 2 crit
Assa blade is 5 agi 4 crit
Goblin Screwdriver is 7 agility
Shadowfang is 7 Agility
BvB is 9 agility

Those would all be a better off hand than a 5 agi 4 stam 3 crit dagger

Ok, so as mutilate, besides ToV and Bvb what's the best set up? Slow heirloom Mh and fast heirloom Oh?

Use ToV main hand (very easy to obtain) and WsG dagger off hand until you can manage to get BvB for off hand

But despite the 30% buff I still feel that combat is better and for that I would use 2x SF or 1x SF + 1 BvB

Such a good quote!

But yeah man, I feel like the only daggers suggested here are the ones that are crazy difficult to obtain. ToV, Assassin's Blade, Goblin Screwdriver, BvB???? I mean cmon.

If I were you I would roll double heirloom heartseekers. I think the stat is 1.7 speed, 5 agi, 6 stam, 2 crit, & 2 haste. You'd be poking people so fast with those

ToV is very easy to get, and you don't want two fast weapons. It lowers mut damage and the attack speed wouldn't really be noticable with snd up all the time.

the level 7 ToV is easy to obtain, you can use the dagger from WC as it scales the same as Assa Blade
Goblin Screwdriver shouldn't cost more than 10 euros, the only hard item to obtain in the list I gave would be BvB

Maybe if your server is alliance. And I disagree the biggest perk to assassination rogues is the quick attack speed. The difference of 0.01 weapon speed should be enough to notice, that's a 5.6% difference plus whatever else you get with haste. More stamina, faster elemental force procs, faster poison procs so less druids can shapeshift & sprint away.

Yes you can spend money for a dagger with +2 agility but the balanced heartseeker is still a very viable option, especially for assassination rogues. A hard hitting mutilate is nice, but that's not at all where the bulk of your damage comes from. ToV may increase your damage a little, but it's really not "easy to obtain". The secondary stats of the heirloom dagger is really good and I will continue to say that haste > crit.

One advantage of having a 1.7 offhand is the ability to get your swing timer below the global. It counters power shifting pretty well.

Ok so since we have a discussion going here on ass rogues (ha) in general, are lightblade bracers and hound trainer's gloves now viable since they contain all 3 major stats + good stamina? And still major agil and greater assault chants right? Really loving this discussion now that we've moved to a world where not all of us have 200k gold or want to spend actual money on this stuff. Thanks all.

Edit: my understanding is that the auction house is connected both factions now so you still have the benefit of any ally lowbies getting talon and throwing it up there for nothing, correct?

Can someone smarter/richer than I take a look at berserking vs landslide vs ele force as mut and/or assa? I was just thinking that since landslide apparently has no ICD, dual landslide as mut could be kinda insane. Esp since it takes time to build up 55 energy for mut, and like arms wars, swapping weapons to dual ele force after a proc wouldn't really cost us anything to active that GCD. Thoughts?

It's probably posted somewhere and I just can't find it, but does anyone know the scaling of Prison Shank? With an item level of 26 and 5 agi/2 stam I would imagine it at least scales up to 6 agility.

Started farming BvB in stockades a day or two ago. Maybe 800 boxes in and it dropped. Was gonna be my last unboxing of the night too.
