The wargames were a fail this week because not enough people signed up on TI and things got difficult and messy when we were trying to get the rosters balanced with last-minute additions. Unlucky.
Mumble worked really well though so we will continue using that instead of Skype.
Better luck next week!
Well, it was a pain indeed wait so long again and having no idea which set up has the other team (Horde to me) was even more worse, because it revealed that both teams had only 2 healer, but Horde got not one, but 2 cc class (mage and lock) plus 2 "range" interrupts (mage and shaman) and about the shaman, he could even dispel disc's shield, that is one of the basis of Ally's healing. Result, both healers (me and Quickheals) were constantly cced giving our team no chances to do anything. I forgot to say that we Ally team got only 9 players in bg, one disappeared suddenly.
But yeah, it was to fill the rosters ok, so we left and restart for another game. Unfortunatly Horde team kicked just the shaman, leaving basically the advantage of the cc classes. At that point sorry, I had enought and left. (sorry, I was already tired from work and the other players started to leave too)
Result: totally fail cuz ok fill the roster, but the teams need to be balanced. The reason of rosters is exactly to have a large view of the teams in order to make the most possible balanced wargames.
All players are on a certain level, skilled players that know what to do and when to do. The littelst advantage will compromise the balance.
Having said that, I still aprreciates Pleya's effort to organize this event and I will gladly sign for the next wargames if my schedule allow me that.
Greetings
