He gave an opinion, which he has a right to have and a right to give. He said that the OP had too much haste, understanding what the 104% display actually meant and assuming that you all did too. He said that haste over that which gives you one second was too much. He never directly addressed the actual percentage. It is incorrect and assumptive and misleading for you to say that he deliberately misled someone. That's just your bias talking.
Furthermore, Jva was not temp banned for "trying to guide the OP in the right direction". That is a blatant and obvious misstatement of the facts. Jva was banned because every post of his in this thread contained an insult towards another member, and despite my giving him multiple chances to correct that behavior and accept responsibility for his actions, he chose instead to deny all responsibility, continue to blame others and hold himself infallible, and then directly tell a moderator to fuck off.
Your little vigilante justice crew and support group really ought to take a hard look at reality here. I do not care how much any of you dislikes any of the rest of you, if you bring this drama on to these forums and start insulting each other, you WILL have actions taken against you. I've had enough, the staff has had enough, and more people are going to end up getting banned, for longer than three days, unless it changes immediately.

Discussing moderator actions is in fact a bannable offense, and every one of you agrees to abide by the CoC when you sign in to these forums. So unless you're cruising to be the next example, you'd better drop it. This witch hunt ends now.

No, someone "calling out" the mods for doing their jobs can get you banned though. We are given the duty and responsibility to carry out Shane's will. We do so, and if you think for a second that anything that I or any of the other moderators have done isn't completely and totally backed by Shane, then by all means message him about it. It's our job to keep peace and order here, and you are all disturbing the peace and order right now. Your friend Jva was wrong, he broke the rules multiple times even well after being given the chance to correct himself, and he got exactly what his actions determined that he should get.
I'm not going to discuss this with you all anymore. This is not vigilante justice where you can all gang up and try to make things your way because a friend of yours earned himself a temp ban with his actions. This is exactly why moderator actions are not up for peer review and why you'll get banned next if you don't drop it, right now. Don't even think I'm playing. Every one of you is Shane's guest and your right to post here is only by his grace, and we are Shane's bouncers and trusted agents and you -will- follow the rules.

All he does is CONSTANTLY spreading misinformation and whenever you try to politely point it out he starts some SHIT argument just to edit his postes later and IF he figures he is wrong himself (which rarely happends that he is able to see that) then he makes it sounds like he was trolling and didnt mean a single word of it. I dunno how much shit I have reported but I have had enough! And banning JVA for this? Are you kidding me? So come at me, ban me for telling the truth! Being wrong is not against the CoC. Being insulting in every one of your posts towards another member is. I can't imagine how it is that you guys don't understand that. This is not middle school, I don't care for your gang-up philosophies. I have made a ruling that I believe is 100% in line with Shane's wishes for this forum, and if you don't like it, then by all means no one is making you log in every day. The abuse of other forum members WILL stop, even if that means we have to lose 10, 20, or 50 of you from these forums. The only people that would leave because moderators stopped people from rampantly insulting another member, are people that we don't really need here anyway. That's your choice. But this discussion is over.
