Is it possible that you can elaborate on how you got de-leveled, how you leveled and what you wrote in the ticket?
Personally i havent heard about anyone being set a level back since WoTLK.
I am genuinely interested in this and i would expect others would too

They changed their politics as Artonk said due to veteran accounts. When your account turn vet all your characters gets their exp turned on, and this has caused a lot of unwanted lvling.

Yeah someone already done it before. It was a rogue, he managed to deleveled back to 19 and was wearing an eye patch in a warsong

That's not twinking, that is exploiting, so go ahead, try it, but if you succeed, expect to be reported+banned.

I had a warrior deleveled from 21 to 20 after deleting him immediately and making a ticket. The first GM, after telling him someone deleted my character (sometimes you can delete right away and get them back without that last bit of xp that lvled them I heard) said I should just use the restoration function. Put in another ticket a few days later and went all role-play-y with the GM. He said he had to ask, did ask and then deleveled him. In all my years of WoW I hate to make it a cliche, but role-playing with GMs has had an incredible success rate for me.

What did you write in your post exactly? Did you go through restoration> other restoration? Your input would be really appreciated since you are the only twink I know of that got successfully de-leveled

I tried this a few days ago on my level 21 druid but it was over 6 years ago so I got denied and he also said it's only possible if the ding is within 1-2 hours.. Only tried once tho!
