Arms or Fury?

I don't know many bis arms warrior armories tho most of them equip shit gear before logging out.
I think Executor is BiS but I think the name has special characters in it.

Check out my sig, its glasscannon but you dont need health when you wipe their entire team xD

best way to gear a warrior is just stack stamina.

arms stat prio : stam > crit > str
Arms is pretty much just about rending everything and then spam whirlwind and do shittons of damage, stamina = surviving longer. Swap weapons for several crusader pops.

Fury stat prio: Crit > stam > str

Fury is just a pure rng spec, with procs and all that you can litterally global people, might aswell play to its strenght.

for reference this is my warrior: Bananacharge @ Ravencrest - Community - World of Warcraft

There are a few changes I would do to it such as getting Band of Raptor Teeth - Item - World of Warcraft & Bravo Company Signet - Item - World of Warcraft and changing out my boots for Gorewalker Treads - Item - World of Warcraft

Arms: str > stam > crit > haste
Fury: str > haste > stam > crit

Arms: str > stam > crit > haste
Fury: str > haste > stam > crit

stacking str on warrior doesn't make much sense considering how you more or less have atleast one crusader up in this bracket at all times with weapon swaps.

stacking crit doesn't make much sense since crit is basically one of the worst stats you can get this expansion

Normally I'd agree with you but in the case of fury warriors theres not really anything that compliments the way fury warriors works right now. Haste will give you a few more swings and a shorter cooldown on bloodthirst but crit will compliment the rng global playstyle that fury is right now and keep your enrage up.

While haste stacking I have a 3.2 second bloodthirst CD while retaining 10% crit. Bloodthirst has a 40% extra crit chance so I get enough crits in to keep my enrage up at all times. 40% haste allows me to get 40% more crusader procs, get 100 rage very quickly, and with a 3.2 second bloodthirst CD I can get the procs for 2 free wild strikes very quickly. This in turn allows me to pull out a lot of 4x Wild Strikes in a fight which usually always allows me to get the kill.

As for arms, they dont have enrage so I dont see the point of having high crit on an arms warr. Haste reduces the CD of Mortal Strike but since most your damage will come from rending everyone, having a slightly lower CD of Mortal Strike is pretty useless aswell. Just to remind you, 1 DPS is 3.5 AP now rather than 14 AP that it was pre-WoD, therefore AP is one of the best stats you can get despite crusader proc giving a lot of strength anyways.

I know what you're saying Yapah, but Its the 1k+ Wild Strike crits that really hurt IMO. I feel like its a playstyle thing. Esp because the only classes you're really gonna have trouble with are either LOLFERALS and LOL5KSHIELDMONKS or classes that can heal, burst from critting is what you need to kill them. Its why every class without an interrupt I roll Tauren or Belf. As far as Arms goes, I love stam stacking and then crit with the neck/back/ring chants because popping rend on 3+ people with 30% crit=lolrific damage

EDIT: I know crit is supposed to only be 150% dmg now, but in a lot of chars I feel, and Recount backs me up, that its playing more like the old 200%. IDK but I definitely have seen crits that are double my hits.

My wild strikes hit 1k+ still, its just that while you may be getting 4x wild strikes once every 22.5 seconds I get it once every 16 seconds. This coupled with 40% more crusader procs and faster rage regeneration, its well worth stacking haste over crit. To put into perspective 1 haste is a flat 0.22% DPS increase while 1 crit is 0.18% crit which is 0.09% DPS increase (since crit is 150%). Sure you can make the arguement of burst, but when I can put out more wild strikes and have more rage regeneration and more crusader procs, I find that much more useful than a small extra bit of potential burst.

Crit is not what it use to be in previous expansions, unless blizzard makes crit 200% again, I dont think it will be viable for any class really.

I mean I agree if we're talking pure numbers coupled with 100% uptime then ya haste is a pure numbers dps upgrade. But I mean your WS are critting 1/10 times and mine are critting more than three times as often. Thats what I meant about 1k+, sorry. The fact that you could go all 4 of those as 600 hits and I could go both of mine as crits and get a kill while yours get healed through. I'm using no haste chants, but have the haste boa helm, and haste, haste/crit, and crit shoulders, and then the cloak and legs have haste+crit so I'm not haste devoid.
