help with scaling please

Hello, im leveling an enhancement shaman through pvp to 99. my main spec was resto so i pretty much just bought an off set off the auction house for enhancement. when i ask people how much agility they have and compare it to mine, they seem to be about the same. for example a leveling hunter had 2770 agility in a skirmish and i had 2780. Does this gear not scale well or something? Or am i just missing something? thanks for reading

Scrap the hammers, get any crafted item + chest + trinket and two of these.

The stats balance out to more than 4/4 crafted weapons would provide and they also have higher weapon damage due to the insane speed on them.

You'll also want some good scaling set bonuses.

What I went for 30% extra Lava Lash damage and 10% extra Stormstrike damage was the 2 set bonus from ulduar which gives 20% more to lava lash (Stormstrike part doesn't work) and the BoT cataclysm set whcih you can buy for gold in Stormwind (raging elements) that gives 1% to both Stormstrike and lava lash.

so i got the set bonuses toklo suggested and the demonforks. When i join an arena and equip the two 630 hammers it says my lava lash and storm strike do more damage than with the demonforks, even with the faster weapon speed. when do the demonforks do more damage?

Are you looking at the base weapon damage on the weapon or the weapon damage under the "Attack" pane on your character screen. The slow speed means that it scales with attack power better. If you look at the damage there it will be higher with the forks.
