BiS Rogue Arena set?

Pacattack @ Barthilas - Community - World of Warcraft

with slight item changes, heirloom cloak and black wolf > rest is basically bis outside of primal leg armor, n agm>bm

specifically for arenas though.. going full glass doesnt beat having the higher crit and hp in arenas in my experience of testing..... too low of crit with max ap just doesnt seem to be better than having the more simple set that has more well rounded hp/crit n not as stacked on AP

edit: clarifying, i mean i experience higher damage and everything in arenas having the more well rounded set than full AP stacked, but it still does somewhat fall down to preference too

this is true, and yea silver embossed are good too but crit only seems like u need a certain level and higher to be getting good dmg out nonstop rather than inconsistant high dmg when landing RNG n critting with full AP w/ a good bit lower crit, but 25-26% crit seems to be what you want at least cuz any amount of AP higher that is possible to get doesn't seem to actually increase damage more than having "enough crit", like every arena i went in with full glass set n like 19-20% crit, the dmg i was able to do was always more in a shorter window of time while playing with 25-26% crit instead of stupid AP and like 20....

you can test whether having like 29 or so with heirloom weps n 5/5/5 alli boots is good, im not entirely sure since i haven't really tried too much higher crit since i never felt like i needed it, aside from when using full AP set

The differences between the mentioned sets are sooooooo small, just unbelievable. It won't be gamechanging...just play your set u want to play guys and dont care about these things: ' ouh no BiS! U lost 4 crit! U cannot play this rogue!'

this is what this forum is really for, helping people out to make the best possible character they can while not having expertise per se at using the class.... saying all stats dont matter would b like saying its not a big deal to que with all breath enchants instead of gift, it makes enough of a difference for everyone to want put in the effort to get it... 19s has always been kind of about making as sick of a low lvl char as you can....

if these discussions make u mad, idk why you're here posting since you could just avoid the anger altogether by just not visiting this thread/forum

Twinking has and is always been about small differences, the main fun with twinks in all the time I've been playing them has always been gearing.
 
For wsg, just slap on the default rogue set, stack agi, thralls+defias 5set.
For skirmishes where you do stuff besides ambush, Go with a nice balanced AP/Crit set (Black wolf, silver embossed boots etc) with about 2.3k+ HP
 
for me I change it based on comp. If I feel like I need some more survivability I'll go for Stam or if I feel like I need to burst harder in opener I'll go full ap I have full haste for training low mobility targets and stuff. I've even messed with full Stam when I played hpal/rogue into ret/ww

also acidently played 2x landslide yesterday lol that poor shaman disappeared. got double proc kicked him at half hp 1.4k evis rip

Just read my post: Never said all stats dont matter! But these small things are not really gamechanging. But Artonkn is right: it's up to everybody to decide, how to make a char....
But how many BiS rogue threads like this exist here? Hilarious.

i suppose, but i think its a pretty marginal difference. Haste is also very viable on rogue.
