If you have a 24, you may as well go on up to 29. Or at least roll a 29. You never know, in two years the bracket may get split again.

Your 24s in armory gear wise nothing grandfathered so just lvl up, if bracket changes reroll then.

Yep they are correct. The bracket now scales to 29 so there's no reason to stay 24. You get more gear choices plus you might get more abilities too.
