On a sfk run on my pally, I came across shadowfang.
IDK why but why heart literally jumped before I read the text, it was like instinctive.
I instantly needed the weapon.
Bam I won the roll.
And then the dreadful moment.. It is fucking soulbound. wtf do i do.
making ticket to gm atm, better make it unbound.

Specifically to prevent you from doing what you were trying to do. Not even kidding. They stated way the heck back in vanilla that they didn't want some guy needing on everything that dropped, and then selling it off at the AH when people in his group could use it.

by clicking need, it means the current character needs it, not your other character that needs it, not your friend that needs it, not the auction house that needs it. now that you have accepted your fate, go farm it on your rogue if you really need it, just like we used to before veterans existed

A GM cannot mail your SF , since you needed on it.

If you win with "Need" in a instance group, it directly gets soulbounded.

Sorry to say, but i don't think that GM is actually going to do anything.

The only chance you have is to DE it and have it restored. Sometimes, I repeat, sometimes BoE items that are soulbound come back as BoE.

I did that , he said i needed on the item. Can gm's see past tickets, or did they just see how the item became soulbound?
