28 or 29?

So i'm making a rogue twink, and just wondering if i should go to 29 or stay 28? i see some staying at 28, but why? thanks

As Ohyiz said no difference. A while back people were stopping at 28 to take advantage of the way scaling worked at the time. All gear scales to ilevel 34 now no matter what character level.

Isn't there a difference between let's say a 24 and a 29 if they use the exact same gear? Shouldn't a 24 benefit more from like 6 crit than a 29 since they are lower lvl. I understand that all gear scales the same but there must still be a difference between how much the stats benefit per lvl?

not in bgs cos all stats are calculated as if the player is level 29, no matter what the actual player level is

Yep, even mana cost of spells is calculated as if player is lvl 29...
