19 Resto shaman question

I have a 19 Resto Shaman on Thrall-US. I have no idea what stat is best or what to get. Any tips or advice for playing one is also appreciated as is my first 19 healer since Wrath.

I dont know if the gear is updated on Battle.net or not but this is what it has and the enchants incase its not.

Head - Mystical coif of elements
Neck - BoA neck with breath of Haste
Shoulder - Aged pauldrons of five thunders - greater crane wing inscription
Cloak - Ancient Bloodmoon Cloak - Breath of Haste
Chest - Mystical Vest of Elements - (exceptional mana (34 mana))
Bracer - Hovel Diggers Bands - Haste (3 haste)
Gloves - Magefist Gloves - Haste (2 or 3 Haste)
Belt - Tarantula Silk Sash
Pants - Mystical Kilt of Elements - Cerulean Spell thread
Boots - Sandals of Sacrifice - Haste (2 haste)
Ring 1 - Seal of Argas - Breath of Haste
Ring 2 - Lorekeeper's Ring - Breath of Haste
Trinket 1 - Swift Hand of Justice
Trinket 2 - Inherited Insignia of the Alliance
Weapon - Devout Aurastone Hammer - Windsong
Shield - Weathered Observers Shield - Vitality (4 spirit and stamina)

With Rshams you generally want to stack haste+spirit or versatility. I prefer haste.

You will want all BoA's with stam+int+haste (not stam+int+crit). For enchants, you will want peerless stats to chest, major stamina to bracers (I prefer mindthrust for the spirit), either glove reinforcements to magefists or superior haste for +5 haste to gloves. For your belt you will want the vision belt (+7int+4haste+2stam iirc) or the 5/5/5 stam/haste/int belt. For legs you can either do sapphire spellthread or one that gives you int+crit. Your boots are good, but you may want to think about putting minor speed on them. +10% speed vs 2 haste. Rings are good and trinkets are good. Depending on your current haste you could swap out the haste trinket for the int trinket.

Looks good ill update as i can low on funds at the moment
 
Would you say shamans are in a good place right now, or does disco priests outperform them massively? A friend have asked me to come back to this community and roll a healer, can't settle for one tho. I've heard disc priests pump out fair ammount of dmg too, which makes them good in arenas. Are shamans anywhere near when it comes to off-dmg while healing?

and also, are disc priest now what rogues > hunters > ferals once were? I mean that everyone is playing one?

About the gear, would a 2nd argas be BiS, or is it BoA>Lorekeeper>Argas?

I run Argas/DPR on my shaman. BiS is very subjective. It all depends on your playstyle, your team composition and opposition. As well as your enchants and the particular patch we are playing.
I suggest playing a toon and sticking with that class. Who cares if is FotM. Next patch it may be terrible and in 4-5 more weeks it could be the best thing since sliced bread. The best players stick with their class through thick and thin and don't jump ship at the first sign of a leak.
Or you can make several classes and play them and get "good" at all of them.

I usually use Warsong and swap out to Heartsong when OOM. For shoulder, honor, Sons of Hodir or Therazine enchant. As I said, there is no "true" BiS any more. There are too many variables. Only what is BiS for YOU.
