Heirloom Hoarder (Chauffeured Chopper) GM Help

  • Hardly playing right now, but I jumped around on all of my characters yesterday to populate my heirloom tab. I wasn't even aware of the Heirloom Hoarder mount until I got the achievement and the mount mailed to me. Anyway, in being jammed having it mailed to a F2P toon, I went ahead and tried my luck with a GM and it sounds like they helped me out. (I'm not actually home to be able to confirm) Here is my ticket submission and their answer. Definitely worth trying a GM, even if you don't have a linked account.

    Hello,
    I could really use some help. After 6.1 launched, I've been logging in on all of my characters, many of which are on a trial account, in order to get all the heirlooms I've acquired to show up in the Heirloom Tab. I love this new feature btw. Anyway, in doing this I earned the Heirloom Hoarder Achievement, which includes a mount, the Chauffeured Chopper. The issue though is that the mount is mailed to the specific character who earned the achievement, and that character is on my trial account. As you know, trial accounts cannot receive mail. I do have a regular account linked to my trial account that I subscribe on, off and on. Is there any way I can get the mount at this point? Even if it could be mailed to a character on my paid account, that would be great. I'm just really hoping the mount isn't stuck in mail limbo permanently. Is it possible to add the mount directly to my mount tab? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. It looks like an awesome mount.

    Hello there!

    Game Master xxxxxxx here! I checked into this for you, and I was able to go ahead and mail the mount (which comes in a present) to your level 100 monk on your main account. I've also added a couple days of game time on that account (xxxxxx) so you can login and pick it up.

    They do that kind of thing all the time. I would regularly get 2-3 days of game time when ever I wanted to fly myself around somewhere for world events.
     
    i was thinking that too. but i think they will just mail another one rather than adding it for you

    After mail expires, gm will send you a mail with the choppa inside. And good thing is that YOU CAN open the GMs mail as a f2p =) !
     
    It's been two hours since my GM game time was added, and I can use the forums that require an active sub, and it says it's active when I log into Battle.net but the game itself doesn't seem to recognize my game time.
     
    I keep going through tickets trying to get them to fix the game time issue, but it takes forever for them to answer, and I haven't been online when they do. Anyone else had GM game time added and either got it to work as normal, or not being able to log in to their 21+ characters?

    Since you're on a Starter Edition account, there is the chance that you might not have been able to grab the mail from the mailbox. As such, I logged in on the character that received the mount, your level 20 goblin rogue Kezanese, and claimed the mail for you. If you log in on them and click on the Clinking Present in your bags, you should be able to add it to your mount list. :)

    That's frustrating I'M sure. The game time the GM put on my account worked fine. Had a few times over the last couple of days where logging in wouldn't work on any character, but those seemed to be an issue for most everyone.

    Same problem K*le old buddy, Yea i even asked them GMs to log into my account for a second to activate the heirlooms n shit i didn't care much bout that mount, I just wanna PK folk in redridge with guildlooms on starter editions foreevr!. The game-time they "say" they added was for 2 days and it didn't even work. Gonna have to grief them redridge locals extra once i get this stupid shit situated, how bout it? PvP server anybody?

    Getting tired of their 24hr response time, and the 2 free days about to expire anyway, I decided to activate my 10 day trial, and that did at least work, so I logged in and got the BoAs and mount.
     
    (Somewhat off topic)

    I just found out you can use this mount at level 1.

    Talk about easy mode.
     
    Last night I received my '2 days' of free game time too, and couldn't log my character... I reopened ticket, and they told me it can take a little while... That was fine, I guess, I'm going to sleep now, and I'll get heirlooms in the morning...
    Morning is here, still can't log my characters...
    Reopened ticket again, I'm not giving away 2 days of free time that easy... :)
