Hi all,
I've been trying to create a system to coordinate cross realm war games in the 29 bracket for a few weeks now by developing a tool that will help automate team construction moving forward. If you haven't had a chance, check out my post here regarding how the tool will work.
Information
What: Horde10 v 10 WSG 29 War Game
When: Thursday, February 26th at 5:00 PST (8:00 PM EST)
Where: Teamspeak server: 78.111.69.35
Password: None (leave blank)
Channel: Ætherburst's 29 War Games - Team 1
Password: Ather
Instructions
1) Sign up here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3KXG5HX
2) You must be logged into Teamspeak by 5:00 PM PST and be responsive (mic not required)
3) You must have XP turned ON by 5:00 PM PST
4) If you are late, don't have your XP turned on, or go AFK, you will lose priority for future war games
5) Be ready to accept in game Btag requests to help form teams
6) This first round will be HORDE ONLY. I'm hoping we can get this going for alliance too soon but I wanted to reduced complexity for this first round.
Team Picking
1) Players will be selected to play based on when they signed up and previous attendance records as well as class/spec
2) Teams will consist of 1 FC, 3 Healers, and 6 DPS (for now)
3) Team composition is the main priority, then attendance.
4) You can only sign up once, so pick the class/spec you want to play.
5) Wins and losses will be recorded to help balance teams
6) People who sign up earlier will have higher priority
7) Brewmasters will be deprioritized. Probably capping at 0 or 1 per team.
Hoping we can get some traction with this. Please let your friends no about the sign up sheet and spread the word.
On a final note, this process is going to be extremely dictatorial initially. Teams are non negotiable and I'll be dropping people that aren't ready to play right at 5:00.
