I'm interested in trying this bracket out - a lot of questions tho

  • I typically play on F2P but I've been meaning to try it at 28+ since WoD came out.

Was hoping someone could fill me in on the following:

I have a monk, shaman and warrior who I'd like to try out. I really want to try using a dual-wield class for double Vibroblade - Item - World of Warcraft
I'd like to stay away from rogues if possible.

Of the 3 specs, which are more viable for dual wielding?
If Shaman - how's their mana regen? I know on F2P, Enhancement shamans constantly go OOM if they try to toss a heal out even once.

How's elemental? Would love to try that again. on paper, elemental looks like it would be very strong.

Is there a substantial Overpowered-ness Difference between WW and Brewmaster.

Is Fury viable in comparison to Arms?

ele is really weak, but has really good heals and mana. enh is pretty strong tho
yes, brewmaster's damage is prob better than ww and more survivability (5k+ guards)
fury is not viable in comparison to arms, more of a troll spec tbh

in that case, how's enhancement's mana-control? If I need to toss out off-heals; will I be playing the rest of the game OOM if I can't get out of combat? Or is the regen for enhancement on-par with Ret?

Enhance does oom after a few spams but you gain it back very quickly and is easily manageable. I have a lot of fun playing my enha.

Ele is a no go, but you can get a similar playstyle in 6.1 paying a resto shaman (100% damage buff for resto) meaning it hits higher anyway.

By the look of things, will Rdruids or Resto Shamans do more dmg?

Oh and last time i checked, the ques were bugged for some reason; que times were incredibly long even though the 20-29 bracket is huge. Did that ever get fixed?

They did presumably fix it, que times are still around 25% longer than in most of mop. Also with 6.1 coming i suggest u do a Veteran account with ur f2p. While compared to 29s they are still weaker ( no glphs / missing spells ) , I foresee AP becoming the main hub with wargames and premade V premades. Reminiscent of 5.0 or even in late cata. If u havn't looked into veterans account, start with this thread. Good to see u again

Regarding consolidating on one server....I'm not familiar with the f2p issues that make this a good thing such as lack of btag. But haven't seen anything to indicate that veteran accounts will have those same restrictions (maybe they will - we'll know very soon). But if you're an actual customer, there's absolutely no reason to consolidate on another server. Just go wherever the group/guild you want to play with is. You can wargame xserver via btag now, premade, etc. For paying tinks, consolidating on BH does nothing now but give you a significantly more expensive AH for tink stuff.
