BM monk FC gear selection?

    • Before any trolling I only use BM spec for FCing I actually much prefer playing WW or even MW which I also have sets for but it's nice to FC sometimes.

    So I have 3 BM sets on my monk one for dps, one pure stam and one a mixture of stam and bonus armor pieces. Since guard absorbs [1 * (Attack power * 9)] damage and surging mist also seems to be affected by AP, although I don't have the numbers for this, I was wondering what set would be best to FC in pugs with.

    Here are some stats:

    BM DPS - 4632 HP / / 4533 Guard / / Surging Mist - 749 NH - 1499 CH / / 10.48% Vers - 5.24% reduc / / 51 BA - 32.98% reduc / / Armor - 215 - 27.29% Base 32.98% Total reduc

    BM BA STAM - 6048 HP / / 3599 Guard / / Surging Mist - 595 NH - 1190 CH / / 10.48% Vers - 5.24% reduc / / 51 BA - 32.98% reduc / / Armor - 191 - 24.26% Base 30.41% Total reduc

    BM PURE STAM - 6840 HP / / 2823 Guard / / Surging Mist - 467 NH - 934 CH / / 10.48% Vers - 5.24% reduc / / 11 BA - 25.43% reduc / / Armor - 149 - 24.00% Base 25.43% Total reduc

    Personally I think the BA STAM set is the best for overall survivability but wanted some opinions. Also note I have no AGM so stats could be higher.

    Also noticed the 30% heal increase from guard doesn't seem to work with surging mist...

    One more quick slightly unrelated question to avoid making another thread but I see some WW monks with Dal'Rends Sacred Charge in MH instead of 2x Mass of McGowan. Is that BiS?
     
    I like stam the most. Unless u have no healer then abit of ap might be better

    Just use cloth int gear. Maximum intellect is the best for BM monks.

    Trust me, I'm a doctor.
