This will allow you to run WOW in a window that can be resized so that you can do other things like work / study (incredible - work? What's that?) while waiting in a queue for your favorite Batteground.
1) Navigate to World of Warcraft folder WTF. For example: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\WTF
2) Open file Config.wtf. You can do this by telling your computer to open it in wordpad, notepad, or an equivalent word processor
3) About 10 lines from the top you should see this: SET gxWindow "0"
4) change the zero to one like this: SET gxWindow "1"
5) Now run WOW. Voila - it runs in a windowed mode
6) Now in WOW, go to Menu, System, Sound and enable checkbox "sound in background." Voila - now you can hear whats going on even when you have tabbed out of WOW or have multiple windows open.
Should be good to go!
Who knows? You MIGHT even be able to get stuff done while you wait for Alterac Valley to pop
