29 Holy Paladin help

I have a 29 Holy paladin i found on an old account of mine. It has some iffy gear mostly enchanted and didnt know if any was still BiS for 29s today. it was made around BC patch 2.2. Armory wont update so i have to manually post each Item. I believe it needs a full regearing but idk

If it sucks can someone post me a BiS list so i can work on it?

Roll Ret and off heal. Unless something has changed recently Ret can out heal holy and you can Dps as well.

Problem is i am a better healer then DPS i dont do well as DPS so i dont know how well id play Ret.

Ret heals are amazing, but you will OOM very fast if you try to play dedicated healer.

There isn't a ton of up to date Holy Pally armories because they aren't exactly doing well so far this expansion. With that said, you should find some starting points in the armory thread. I think it would be a pretty fun little project to figure out all the best of between mail/leather/cloth sets with the scaling updates. You could do some interesting Stamina stacking builds and stuff which could be fun to make a "Tank" like character.

That sucks. I just rolled a 29 HPally thinking I'd try something other than priest. I want to get back into this bracket Time to roll a useful healer.

I do just fine as a holy pally, no the heals aren't as strong as Shammy/priest but pretty tanky. And they run like a bat outta hell which is fun. Though i am probably the only person playing a holy pally. You can look me up in the guild Make your time.
