I meet a lot of players networking as I do, and as SCC's Guild master, and I've noticed something I think is causing people a decent amount of confusion; Premades, and War Games, people use the terms completely interchangeably quite frequently. So i'd like to clear some things up. From my Perspective these are the definitions of the respective terms
War Game - Anything Qued Via the Wargame Que system excluding Organized 10v10s*, this includes 2v2s, 3v3s for areanas, and 5v5 - 9v9 Battlegrounds, mainly done for WSG, but possible in other Battle Grounds depending on your Bracket. These are less formal than the infamous 'Premade'
Pre-Made - Anything Scheduled and Organized, and Qued through the War Game system (although almost always taking place in Warsong Gulch) against two distinct (primarily 10 man) teams that include the maximum amount of players capable of entering a Battleground. Often times there is a large amount of Hype when a premade is announced between two teams, so people tend to take them more seriously than Wargames.
Scheduled War Game - Often times groups will schedule a War Game and choose their team at that time, this is done by guild(s) who are completed or nearly completed with their set 10 man.
*I exclude Pick up 10v10 War Games because they are a nightmare to organize and should be avoided at all cost, in my opinion, not only do they take tediously long to make happen, you are now risking 20 unorganized players leveling by forcing them too turn on their XP temporarily.
It's too bad we don't have a Twink Dictionary section.
Comments and Constructive criticism are welcome.
