It is what it is. Some people aren't happy being unhappy alone. They cant just take their ball and go home, they have to piss all over the playground first. If an active 29 bracket with trial twinks is worse than a dead 29 bracket, go back to your original brackets or join already established brackets. Either way it'd be just the same for you og 29s as it was a few months ago. The f2ps will stop berating you, and the other p2ps who didn't bail on their brackets will stop laughing at you. It is a shame blizzard created a scenario in which you can literally pay to win. Not that twinking was ever considered legitimate by anyone outside of the twinking community in the first place. Just my 2 cents.

Twinking has never been about artificially limiting yourself. So long as it has existed, is has been about min/maxing your toons, obtaining the best gear/enchants possible. There has never been a time when being level 20 on a starter account has been the top of a bracket, capable of obtaining the best gear or enchants for that bracket. It has always been the bottom of the bracket, even when starter accounts were still being queued into XP-on BGs. That's the funniest part about the whining of F2Ps.

The bracket was ours long before you maggots came along.

You need to understand and accept that.

We will not limit ourselves so that you can enjoy the game for free.

We will not bench toons many of us have played for multiple expansions becasue your feelings are hurt.


Whine threads just motivate me to start sign up sheets to insure that multiple 5 man premades are running on alliance and horde 24/7

BTW I have had 19's 39's and 49's I never enjoyed those brackets. I gave up on them a LONG time ago, and not one of the people who plays those brackets gives a damn that I am playing 29's instead. Do not tell me to bail on the only bracket I have ever enjoyed twinking in while at the same time insulting me for "Bailing on other brackets".

instead of trying to enjoy playing 29s by harvesting f2ps with no effort whatsoever maybe people should consider trying to organize some wargames for some actual competitive games which would be completely maggot free and a lot more fun

Oh no, dont 1 button gank me please. Nobody takes you seriously, simply because you play in the bracket with the lowest bottom. Like i said, it is what it is. You're totally right though, the 29 bracket was yours, it was also dead. So, if what its become is too painful to bear, then stop playing in it. Nothing will have changed for you. You can go right back to not playing in the 29 bracket like you were a few months ago.

World of Warcraft is not a f2p game, and is not designed around f2p players. Pay for the game if you think it's worth the money.

I have an almost-100 (he turned 99 this morning) Paladin that has been my Main for 5 years. My interest is predominantly PvP, and particularly BGz. When I first heard of 'twinks', I hated the term because of the more common usage (Twink (gay slang) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), and still to this day wish someone could seriously come up with a better term for what it is we do as low-level highly-geared PvP'ers. Why must something I love be associated with a term from the homosexual lifestyle? And I would bet I'm not the only one. Anyways, I also wish Blizzard would go back to a 10-day Trial. Why would there ever need to be a trial period longer than that? You either like the game, and will subscribe, or you won't.

You want to play 29 BGs, but want the very thing that makes 29 BGs pop to go away. It sounds like what you are looking for is wargames.
 
I don't give it a lot of thought, but here on this forum, it seems to be a bit of a hot-topic, and if I were to weigh in one way or the other, I'd be hard-pressed to weigh in on the f2p side. I'm not against them per se. I've ran with some f2p's in skirmishes, and in BGz, who were pretty badass. Its not their actual presence I'm fighting, its just a philosophical position.

Why do you F2Ps keep pretending as if 29s (or 24s before) depend on you for activity?

Don't you realize that if you stopped playing F2Ps we would continue to play (and probably grow the bracket)?

If anything, it's your presence that is keeping the better 29s from queuing up into random games.

cant speak for US but i'll imagine it would be in the same boat, in EU 20-29 would die quickly as fuck if f2ps went away. Which would probably be a good thing for the 19 bracket since thats where most people would go to for continued twinking as 19 bracket is the only bracket who have had some consistancy in terms of getting pops.

F2ps are the foundation of this bracket, yeah you can argue that 29s have been around forever but lets be real here, pre wod how many games have there been in the bracket since xp lock was introduced compared to what its like now?
