What Class/Spec for Mail Intellect Heirloom Fun?

Metal

Legend
What is a fun class to play that wears Mail Int armor? I like my Shockadin, though undergeared, and think he'll do better as I get better geared, but right now I still like Ret better. And now I have these looms, not that I'm giving up on him, I'm not, but I'm interested in playing a class I've never really played. I've had several Pal, several Rogue, a DK, a Warrior... as you see, melee fighters. I've never played a healer in 5 years, but I'm kinda liking it with this guy. So gimme yer ideas for an Int Mail-wearing classes that is fun to play at 29. It doesn't have to be heals, I prefer the melee...

One thought--I have a Druid, who is currently Guardian. I haven't played him much yet. Perhaps going with a different spec to utilize this armor?

You mean plate BoA's that scale down to mail at 29, or mail BoAs that scale down to leather? If you're talking about the latter, then shaman is the answer.

shaman i find fun, more challenging having to stack to 15 and losing move casting

Your Druid can't equip mail BoAs.
Drat and double-drat. I forgot.

You mean...mail BoAs that scale down to leather?
Yes, that's the one. I have the "Mystical _______ of the Elements" set of looms that can currently be seen on my Shockadin...

If...then shaman is the answer.

I've only ever had a Shaman bank-alt :) Okay, so what race for Alliance? I'm thinking Dwarf...and what are the advantages of the specs?

And as I say, I do enjoy my little Shockadin. At least a few of his abilities can be cast while moving (Judgement, Holy Shock...)

dwarf is best for its poison removal (captain obvious lol)

Enh has decent damage since battle fatigue has been revoned
only thing holding it back is the lack of mana they have

elemental is almost the same , but you cant cast while moving and stacking charges is longer, but still does about the same amount of damage like in mop,and both dps specs lost water so once mana is gone, you die :p

resto is really hard to burn mana
and the hp from riptide has been removed, not much of a prob sone health pools are good at this lv,
they dont have lighning shield and earthshock.

imo i think elemental is fun because of its dependency of distance. and a greater mana pool than enh

Cool, thanx for the info! I was thinking ele myself, earlier today. How important are the totems in the grand scheme of things? Are they an always must?

stone bulwark is a must to use , with battle fatigue gone it is significantly helpful.

Searing i believe is more to throw if you want some more damage. it helps because it can be a durl ender if you are cced. idk if Flame shock is removed from elemental

ill check when i can

I should've already asked...what do you mean by this 'dependency [on] distance'?

Do you mean that you need to be at a distance from your target? If so, that's not me, lmao. I love melee, getting into the thick of things...
