You're going to want Strength to cap damage - Crit is much weaker than in MoP, but you can still stack it alongside Strength to maximize burst; which will help when fighting healers.

This is my Retribution Paladin.
 
I would say stack strength for max dmg and get as much stam as you can to fight those ferals, windwalkers and other rets.

Brilliant necklace is probably better but doesn't matter
Tumultuous cape of the battle might be better than twilight but I haven't seen the scaling yet on either of those
Earthbound girdle of strength is probably better but up to you
Doubtful you'll get an agm on ap but you could invite yourself to other realms with a p2p and steal the chests from low pop servers, that and boa trinket are probably the best setup. There is a lot less cc around, so you could pull off 2 agms if you can get your hands on them. If thats impossible just get inherited mark of tyranny and call it a day, the other boa trinkets are useless.
Lucky fishing hat obviously eventually. For boas I would get reaper first, then shoulders and chest are about the same priority.

Strength scales really well now, which is funny since in mop it was complete garbage. Like to the point of wearing leather. Crit is decent now, pick it up if you can, but strength is way better. Haste is pretty useless and you can't get any of the other stats

when going for boa, pick armor 1st, in my opinion the boa weapon is now a matter of taste, I would take boa shoulders and armor for better armor and extra crit crit and stick with dungeon weapon

my calculations show that on average 1str is equivalen to 4crit, but I'm not an expert on these things

also the boots on the above ret after scaling are better than the boots of hero, same for bracers, keep the collarspike

when going for heirlooms, shoulders give you the biggest boots in str and crit over deathstalker (in my opinion the boa weapon and even armor are now a matter of taste) I would take boa shoulders and armor for better armor and extra crit, and stick with dungeon weapon

if you really want to go for crit, take the heirlooms (shoulder, armor, weapon) and the divident leggings, but the rest should be pure str
