Hey at least us Polar Bears Require skill. You hippos and your "know how". Like seriously. Just because you have an overpowered [Bite] doesn't mean you can carry a team.

the dps is not stronger than the other meeles
he got judgement as only range spell ( 6 sec. cd. )
templer he can use just whit 3 holypower.
crusader strike got 4,5 sec. cd

the off heal is verry strong, ye but 1,5 sec cast time u can kick.
problem what i see...the most ppl are retards.
yday a 24 schadow need in 2s 10 min. to kill me cuz he was to stupid for LoS

ret off heal is stronger than feral/gurdian/boomy..but they just use a instant hot..sure a hardcast must be stronger

u cant kill a ret?
switch on his mate, a ret push strong heals but u can play him oom cuz he's not a heal.

While I am in complete agreement with you, I will say that the healing could be tuned down to make it still viable yet perhaps a bit less overwhelming.

This is coming as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Ret on both the PTR and in Live BGs.

How many casts does it take infight? I cant test since I have no retgear (but fucking 3 geared Holydins -.-)
Cant rly compare but had a funny Ret vs. Holy and while he did more dmg and less heal it was the other way round with me. Neither of us ran even close to less than 80% mana.
What dps can oom a ret anyways?

i just talk about arena, real balance for bgs is unrealistic ( low lvl ).

is it not possibel 2 kill da ret ( worng set up or what else ), force the ret 2 use hardcast ( FoL ) for his mate.
when u exert pressure enough on the mate, the ret will go oom, for sure.
or u cc the ret and burst down the mate.
thats the way to beat a ret.

Honestly, this is what it should be like for the specs that no one touched in mop

The good players at such specs should stand out and make a dent on others in pvp and the other players should not complain if they get beat, it's not like new people who pick up ret will be killing you if you know what to do

They just need to have the mana regen nerfed, they are not the healing spec

Ret is fine. Great short-term burst healing but can be forced to go OOM. Good damage but not as good as druids (balance and feral), rogues, monks or warriors (no finisher). Can be endlessly kited by druids and hunters.

The real issue is how awful holy paladins are now, but I guess that wouldn't be as provocative a subject.

What needs to be nerfed are the wants and needs of the players in the bracket. Take what you and be happy with it. Manipulate to your needs.

As glasscannon MM with scorpion (25% mortal wounds debuff) I can make ret go OOM.
