SF's after 6.0 stats bugged

A reliable source that wishes to remain anonymous has informed me about a development in regards to the new SF's being dropped in relation to the old ones that existed pre 6.0. Apparent blizz dun goofed and the dps is LOWER on the newly dropped ones vs their older pre 6.0 counterparts. While this is a joyous occasion for the bracket as a whole, I only hope blizzard remedies this in a timely manner, so that there isn't a significant gear gap between old and new chars like in other brackets.

That is weird, I've seen this happen to different items from the switch to old to new content but I have never seen it happen to the same item.

This might be a problem when it comes to selling them; how will you know if you are buying the "better" version of SF? :O I hope those who farmed some kept them separated from their old ones!

From what I understood, the new fangs that drop have lower DPS than the older ones (Fangs obtained prior to 6.0). Thus, your new fang will not go up to match the old; it will be worse than the old.

I just went to check real quickly on Wowhead and compared the Shadowfangs I have on my 19 monk. This is surely just a tooltip bug but the proc does significantly less damage on Wowhead (28 shadow damage) versus the ones on my armoury (94 shadow damage).

Yeah I noticed the proc difference today.. Had one drop, threw it on my rogue with lifestealing (haha yeah..) and the proc only displays as 28..? That is a HUGE difference...

My new and old fang both seem the same, same DPS and proc.. in game and on armoury, yes the armoury says 94 proc, but it says that for both.
