Prot Paladin PvP

My Main has been a Paladin, Prot for the most part, since I began playing 5 years ago. Yes, I know that everyone is playing Ret and certainly for good reasons, but I prefer Prot, plain and simple.

So I'm building up my 29 Protadin, and trying to get him all 'regular' (non heirloom) gear so that I can mog it, since ya can't seem to mog the Plate looms...

What's the best enchant/armor kit (STAM) I can put on legs that are Soulbound? Is it possible to put the Soulbound legs in trade window with a LW, and have them place an armor kit on them? Or am I limited on BoP stuff to whatever 'enchant' I can equip myself at 29?

He's not BiS, but could someone look and give me some ideas about what gear might work? What enchants?

Looking at other 29 Paladins (all Ret, of course, lmao), it appears that everyone goes with the heirlooms for most heirloom slots. I have the looms, just wish I could do something different and still have about the same stats overall. But I guess that's the thing--I can't, really... But I'll try, for awhile

Suggestions?

I should say too that I've ran some BGs both ways (Prot and Ret) over the past few days, at that point being geared with full looms...I like how both felt. My damage was good with both. Prot just feels like it has an edge, due to the added 'ranged' ability of Avenger's Shield.

To try to compensate for that, as Ret, I glyphed Harsh Words so there is a bit more versatility, but this takes away from TV, and self-healz. I just don't know. Still experimenting...

Maybe I'll make a separate 29 for Ret so they can each have their place in my world, lmao...
