US Random Queue Times.

I think it would help if we all just either queued for BGs, OR Arenas, and not queue for both. I think the queue pauses while in arena, which then makes it much longer for everyone else. Just a theory, anyone have any thoughts on this? Ideally with randoms queues should be faster but i don't think that's been the case since Tuesday.

Edit: Also it's worth noting that you can queue for Random BGs, and also 1 specific. I think it'll be worth for us 29s to Queue Random, and Specific queue Battle for Gilneas to get it to pop to see how it is.

I think everyones queing for AV wich could have something to do with the slow que times.
 
I have been queuing random. I would also guess the VAST majority of the bracket is not level 29. Level 29s are going to have to organize a night for Gilneas.

I've been queuing up for random bgs and then specifically AV, since that seems to be what the bg system is trying to do (try to queue everyone 20-29 up for AV, and if that fails then separate the rest into smaller bgs). This is, of course, my theory, but I just want to be in a BG. I could roll with queuing for Gilneas if that's everyone else's cup of tea (hah British worgen joke)

I just had a battle of gilneas pop. It was 10 v 9 and all p2ps. Not a single f2p. Maybe that's screwing up queue times? trying to fill that bg with only p2ps and there isn't enough.
 
I'm all for gilneas que night, like this friday / saturday. all p2ps que gilneas and have some balanced fun. Arena's can be fun if u vs the 3% of players that are actually 1/2decent and p2p, and even then.... i know its early in the patch and overall xpack, but i think testing some 10v10 premades would be essential for creating the ground rules of the new patch (im thinking with reduction of cc and increase of hps, a low amount of heals is necessary for a 10v10 fight to actually end. Gilneas or AB 10 man is the perfect premade this patch imo. Test ur teams leadership,coordination and objective play. Evereyone who reads this please put ur input on whether u would be interested in queing gilneas vs other p2ps!!
 
gilneas could end up being the bg of choice for guild vs guild premades, if 29s take off again, easy setup & no risk of forgetting to turn your xp of and youbeing your 29 to 30 ;)
 
Im all in for anything premade related. Gilneas night would be fun aswell. Playing the BG today, it actually seems quite balanced for 29s, its perfect size for the mount speed. The only thing i can think of off the top is alliance side has a huge advantage due to worgen druids being able to fast cap WW. Other then that it seems like itll be good fun in an organized situation.
